Well…my very first wedding cake went out this week and it went very well, the mother of the bride was very happy and I heard the bride was ecstatic with it 🥰😅 I must admit I was a little proud of myself for achieving this one 🥵

12 vanilla cupcakes for a customers boy turning 13 he loves Nike so this is what they ordered 👏🏻

A beautiful, small, 2 tier cake for a special birthday. Top tier vanilla sponge and buttercream with raspberry jam, bottom tier vanilla sponge with cookies and cream filling.

Another cake that went out Saturday, McDonald’s theme for a little girl turning 4….vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam.

Just a quick tray bake for a 5th birthday party, a great way to feed a kids party, simple but effective. Requested a vanilla tray bake with dinosaur theme.

My final cake went out on Easter Sunday for an 18th birthday, customer requested an elegant cream/white/gold, chocolate cake and were happy with my design 😅

A very special cake for my 3rd order over Easter, a good friend of mine wanted a 2 tier gold and black cake with marbling and 50 gold and black vanilla cupcakes for her 30th birthday.

I love a customer who knows what they want 🥰 2 tier cake is Victoria sponge and chocolate cake. And obviously I made 60 vanilla cupcakes to be sure 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was lucky enough to go to the Hollywood Glam party and see the cake sparkle (I defo didn’t hang around the cake table all night listening to people talk about the “amazing” cake 🤔🤫)

Cakes number 2 went out on hood Friday, an 8inch square vanilla cake and buttercream with raspberry jam. Customer went with a golf theme for a 70th birthday 🏌️⛳️

Started my super busy Easter by sending out 2 Simnel Cakes, I didn’t get a picture or the finished cakes but here’s one of me watching and waiting for the perfect caramelised look on the top of that marzipan, there is a fine line or about 5 seconds between perfect and burnt 😅

24 vanilla fairy cakes for the birthday boy to hand out to his friends at nursery 🎈🧁 A great alternative to sweets and personalised too. Having the smaller fairy cakes is a cheaper alternative to cupcakes and are much better for smaller children to enjoy without waste.

“To infinity and beyond” a Victoria sponge, with vanilla buttercream and fondant decoration and edible prints to decorate. Loved making this cake 😊

A Christmas cake for Mother’s Day because why not!? Requested by one of my loyal customers so I definitely wouldn’t say no to a Christmas cake in March. 🥰🎄🎅🏻

So this is first for me a Divorce cake for my mum 👏🏻 not up to my usual standards but she loved it and the pink half has been eaten already….quote from the person who doesn’t like lemon cake “I don’t like lemon cake but can I get another slice please” I think that’s a win 🤞🏻😅

Bit late in posting a few things, so here’s one I made in between Christmas a new year….6inch vanilla cake with Baby shark theme

Ok here it goes…..my busiest Christmas yet…. 12 decorated Christmas fruit cakes and one spiced sponge Christmas cake…and over 70 (I honestly lost count) Christmas cupcakes….some gifts some donations and plenty of orders too.

Can I just take a minute to say how overwhelmed I am and how much I appreciate all the support of customer continuing to order from me, especially at this time of year. Buying from local small businesses is always going to be more expensive than the chains but I really do try to put a lot of work and love into every cake I do and that little bit extra gets you a bespoke cake that only you will have on your Christmas table 🥰 (plus you only need ask for the extra brandy and it’s there 😉🥃)

Another first for me and something very different, 12 carrot cupcakes and creamcheese frosting with sushi theme for a 14 year old who just loves sushi 🍱🍣

Honestly this took a while because I’ve never even eaten sushi so a lot of looking at pictures of sushi and looking in the supermarket 🤣 but I’m hoping I got it right for the birthday girl 🤞🏻

Something a bit different… a western theme 80th birthday cake…loved making this and was so pleased to hear that it went down a storm with the customer 🤠
