I don’t know about you but since the pandemic my connection with Mother Earth has grown heavily 🌱

Fumbling for fallen sticks in the woods and bringing them home to start creating macramé wall hangings, was my well-being lifeline. And my daily walks in nature doing this and simply connecting with Mother Earth was a healer 🙏 🌲

I have been somewhat absent from this page and I’m changing it that up as of today!

As some of you may know macramé actually lead me to start a wellness events company…. offering macramé workshops in lockdown and seeing how good that was for people’s well-being, got me thinking 🤔 And so I built a company offering macramé workshops and more people and businesses.

So forgive me for going all ‘Lionel Richie’ on you, I’ve been here always, just spending more time on the new born 🌱 🙏

Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book, make it a masterpiece 📖✨

I have been so lucky to have found macramé as my outlet in lockdown, my hobby and now my small business.

I have had the honour to make some incredibly special creations, design my own collection, hosted magical macramé workshop spaces and SOTR planted the wellness seed within me to help me and others grow 🌱

When creating new designs I always leave them with me for a few days, as it’s always good to look back on them with fresh eyes 👀

Just like my sons first macramé advent calendar I made him this year, sustainable and something that keeps me in my “fluffing happy place”😂

I created this mug and macramé coaster set to help those wanting to set intentions, start off on the right foot (or hand as it may be in this case - lifting that morning brew, and setting those intentions!)

Tonight is the new moon in Scorpio ♏️
A time to listen to your intuition, expand on your wisdom and ideas and put trust in yourself and your abilities.

Grab your mug, crystals, herbs, broom or simply a piece of paper with your intentions written down and give yourself that time to set what you’d like from the universe, and simply manifest that sh*t!

We will be running several workshops at our market in the Ingatestone Community Centre on 13th Nov.

Oh hello October!

So to celebrate my favourite season upon us, I’ve gone and created an autumnal range 🍂

It’s never too early!

My little one has been learning about crystals since he was 2years old.

Why as adults are we intrigued and maybe buy 1 or 2 for ourselves, but don’t think to share their magic with our children ✨

Crystals can give us and them so much, and in fact is even better for them because….

✨Everything is still magical to them

✨ They are open and spiritual by nature, everything is alive to them

✨To children all things are possible, the their faith in the “impossible” hasn’t been filled by the disbelief of society.

My little one uses the magic of his crystals in his daily adventures, whilst mummy uses special crystals in her macramé designs…..

Who else struggles?

I don’t know about you, but managing a business(s) being wife, mum and trying to find time for “me” is tricky, right!?

This is me doing my best, me trying to “manifest that sh*t” all whilst trying to read books to be keep up the learning, updating my social media on my phone, and laying down to relax….well half laying down😂

This inspired me to make “balance” as it gracefully manages that in the background…..much better than me in the front of it 🙃

One of my first larger creations, where I worked with a much bigger crystal for the first time too ✨ I still find it one of my favourite designs (which is why I’ve kept it in the collection😉)

Soon a new season will be upon us (did we ever get a summer though, really?) and with the changes of our season, comes some changes for

To celebrate breastfeeding week I just had to make a boobie-lisous onsie 🤱🏻

It is most definitely better to eat local (as we all know) and this is the best local produce a baby can get🥛

But breastfeeding doesn’t come easy, and it’s a hard road, and not always something everyone can do.

It wasn’t something that my body and mind did naturally for the first few days, but for me I was able to power through, and body and mind kept up with my wish, and we loved the “breast is best” dream for 2yrs.

My little one got to dine “albreasco” from the an early age, swipe right to see where his fav spot was 👉🏻

(Clue: Not too dissimilar to where his mumma is usually hanging out)

Small business - BIG heart 🤍

That’s pretty much how it REALLY is for all small businesses.

We plant our seed of dreams and we take on every role that’s needed to help it grow 🌱

We have a big hill to climb from the starting line, and most of us are travelling over terrains we have never walked on before.

Manifestation, who does it?

Work life balance - the struggle is real, right!?

And when you try to fit in all the fun activities in this lovely summer sun all whilst trying to keep the business and home fires burning (I hear ya-exhausting!)

Forced to have a few days in bed 🤒 I realised I hadn’t taken my own advice and looked after myself more, which in turn doesn’t give the best of me to those around me (can’t pour from an empty cup and all that!)

So I’ve started a journal (been meaning to for ages!) makes me stop and reflect and see how much of my day I’ve filled with all the good stuff I need to keep my cup full ☕️

Today’s write up is me grabbing the most joyous thing I’ve ever made and spending all day with him……and I can honestly say my cup is overflowing 🥰

And my intentions are set for tomorrow…. 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏋️‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️

Oh baby, baby!

Both my baby mobiles designs have been showcased now at local fairs and they are liked (phew!)

You never quite know how your designs will be received. But I’m pleased to report those that have seen mine at fairs and on my webpage, like them….and I’m so thrilled☺️

Out of all of my designs, these ones have such a deep meaning, and therefore take me much longer to create.

This one is is called “Mother Nature” As she hangs above baby, she shows them all the wonders of our world 🌎 From dreamy clouds, to rustic woodlands and enchanting leaves, to the beautiful rays of the rainbow 🌈

It’s here! You guys asked me for some insight, here is what I have learnt…..x

How to make your mark at a market stall Ok, so rewind a nearly a year ago and I did my first craft fair with no clue what I was doing. I had never done one before and even through all the reading up beforehand, nothing gave me all the tips and tools I needed to give me all that amazing insight to make the set up as steam-less as possible....

Rainbows are magical aren’t they? The way they display a spectrum of light in a multicolored form and create such a beautiful arch in the sky, out of the eye of the storm 🌈

But it’s what it represents to people that makes it pure magic to me.
For me it represents hope, for others it’s good luck or new beginnings.

For today I’m channeling all three for our boys 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽️

What does a rainbow symbolise to you?

Detox!

How many times have you given yourself that time to detox? Not necessarily with food and drink, but from social media, home life, work life?
Well I gave myself some detox from home and work life this week, both merging into one big 24hr blur each day for me lately. Now don’t get me wrong, working from home is great and I love how much more time I get with my little one, but there is no separation, anyone else know where I’m coming from?

So here I sit in a different location from home, one quite special (a spa!)

🧖🏻‍♀️ Yep I did it, I treated myself to a whole night away at a spa and I can honestly say I feel brand new! Now don’t get me wrong this may not be your vibe and/or something you can do with work/life/financial commitments, but the elements that this trip has given me are achievable in smaller dosages at home, and I am going to share them with you to

1- hopefully give you some inspiration to give them a try
and
2 – make me accountable to stick to them ;.)

So here goes….

🧖🏻‍♀️SPA – I plunged into a 10.6c pool and stayed in it much longer then I thought my body and mind could take (10.5 mins!)
🏡 HOME SPA – Take a cold shower (now I’ve done 10.5mins, so I will be doing this as a min, but 1 min is enough to give you the most amazing feeling after) And basically push and challenge myself everyday more. A cold shower each morning is a good way to start, who’s with me?

🧖🏻‍♀️SPA – I ate well and ‘treated’ myself to nice organic food
🏡HOME SPA – Buy that organic fish, veg, fruit, I am worth it, and what we put into our bodies we get out, right!

🧖🏻‍♀️SPA – I stopped, read a book, slept!
🏡HOME SPA – Take that time at home for ‘me’ - pick up that book, lay on that sofa, close those eyes…and most importantly, don’t feel guilty for it, or allow the head to run off all the things still to do. I will get those things done faster and better if I’m in a better head space, so this down time/sleep is key to get the best of me each day.

So I’m going to re-create the key elements that have given me my mojo back, anyone else game for these little home remedies?
