Mural no.2 for the KOHLER experience Centre in Clerkenwell, London.

Inspired by the FP5 faucet range by Kallista and the colour range from the beautiful Kast Concrete Basins.

Popped back to complete this office mural yesterday, for Zesta Planning Ltd

This one involved a lot of preparation. ✏️📏 📐🖌🎨

1) Step one was to measure each window and work out the size each stripe needed to be to evenly cover the entire space.

2) Then I measured each stripe with a tape, and spirit leve to ensure they were straight!

3) Taping up each stripe accurately ready to paint.

4) Finally getting the x15 different paint colours poured and ready to get stuck in.

5) Peeling off the masking tape! (Best part!) 🤣

6) Using a glass scraper to tidy up all edges of the stripes and letters.

I can't explain how much I value and appreciate these types of messages. They help quiet my anxious mind and remind me that I can do it. That I do have a talent and skill that I must use.

This was a humbling experience. I was honoured to paint a meaningful mural for the residents of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court

Incorporating the local forest and the specific animals that frequent the hospice.

A little, calm garden space for families and residents to enjoy in the warmer months, or nice and cozy with blankets and hot chocolate in the winter.

I'm spending Easter weekend having a sort out of the tools, paint and kit!
