More glam than beachy this one, a great idea for brides or bridesmaids.
If your hair is fine or not that long and you want a nice full pony, I would recommend clip in extensions nothing worse than a skinny/stubby one 😅.

👉 All about the face framing! ✂️

Most brides show me inspiration photo's which only show the back of the hair.

When it comes to styling the front I will work with you to make sure we are working with your hairline, parting and hair type to create the desired look for you.
If you would like to have face framing pieces left out to soften, then ideally you need some layering around the face, with the shortest piece under your chin then gradually getting longer. I always advise getting this done before the wedding. However, I do always carry my scissors in my kit if a little shaping is required. ✂️

Hands on heart, have you got a good haircare routine in place for lead up to your big day?

If not then I can give you some hints and tips to get you on the right track.

A lot of clients are now having low maintenance colour/ balyage which generally means they are visiting the salon less frequently for colour top up. Clients are then not returning between colour appointments for a maintenance hair cut, resulting in damaged, dry worn hair.

👉 Ideally you should be booking in with your stylist every 8_10 weeks to get your hair trimmed. This will avoid getting dry split ends and the appearance of your hair will be better.

👉 Invest in a good professional shampoo, conditioner and mask. You will spend a little more, but most professional haircare ranges are treatment based and will help strengthen, repair and moisturise your hair not just clean it. Ask your stylist for advice and recommendations.

👉 Heat protection when hot styling is essential and must be part of your haircare routine.

👉 Book in for your pre wedding cut and colour two weeks prior to the wedding day. This will give your hair chance to soften in ready for your big day.

👉 Don't forget about those all important face framing pieces. Ideally for face framing I always advise jaw length or bangs that are cut just under your cheek bones.

Why a Trial?

✨️A hair trial is essential, not only does it give you chance to explore ideas for your hairstyle, it also allows you to get to know me and vice versa. It makes for a smooth running wedding morning.

✨️Choosing a wedding hairstyle.
Can feel a little overwhelming on the lead up to your wedding.
Before I meet you and ahead of your hair trial, I always ask in advance to send me any hairstyle images you have saved on your Pinterest board, this enables me to get a feel of the sort of style /vibe you are looking for, it also saves time on the day scrolling through pictures and gives me the the full two hours to spend actually styling your hair. Don't worry if your not sure if the chosen style will suit you its just a chance for me to see what you like.

✨️Can I bring someone with me?
Yes absolutely, my studio is cosy but definitely room for an extra. This is also great for you to get another opinion on your hairstyle.

✨️Taking inspiration from your pictures.
Looking at your face shape, dress style and you hair type/ texture all gets taken into consideration before styling your hair. You may be torn between a down style and up, we can explore both, take photos, and try accessories/ clip in Extensions.

✨️Do I need Extensions?
Depending on your style choice and your natural hair this may well be advised to enhance your look.
I can help you with this and colour match you if this is something you would like to try

✨️Should I wash my hair before I come?
Always come along with your hair washed and blowdried (but not straightened), either the evening before or that day. Wear a light coloured top, with an open neckline, this will give you an idea of how your hair may look with your wedding dress.

✨️What happens next..
At the end of the session, I will take photographs and WhatsApp them over to you. We can also discuss bridesmaids requirements and from there work out you timings for the wedding morning, alongside your make up artist to make for a fun relaxed wedding morning.

"I thought it was about time I popped on so you can fit the face to the name, I have to say I'm not great at posting myself on Insta especially shots in action as have the most terrible concentration face! 😆

Anyway for all my New followers and 24/25 brides, Welcome and here's a bit about me....

I'm an experienced hairstylist and have been hairdressing since I left school, over time I realised my passion lies in Bridal and Occasion hair and this is what I specialise in now. I still have a busy hairdressing clientele which I run alongside the Bridal hair business which is great as I really enjoy cutting and colouring also.

I have two Boys , Isaac and Rory and married to Dominic, I'm a football mum and spend a fair bit of time stood on the sidelines and washing muddy kits!
I can also be found walking Wilson (the dog) on Cleeve Hill. Some of you will no doubt have the pleasure of meeting when you come for your hair trial in my studio as he loves to say hello.

As your Bridal hairstylist I can promise you that I will give you the best possible service I can. I will guide you and help give you hair inspiration, build on your wedding hair style ideas, and advise on haircare and extensions (if required).

I'm extremely passionate and strive for perfection, but all more importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and confident and put you at ease on your journey from the moment you book your wedding hair to the moment you step foot down the Aisle.

A beautiful pure colour scheme of Sage and white. The Gyposophlia is so simple yet so effect mixed with the white Roses, definitely beautiful Spring Summer inspiration here for 24.

I created two looks... An Effortlesssoft low bun,
Accessorising with beautiful baby breath hair pins, and drop pearl earrings by and some Glam waves accessorised with a stunning hairband. Hairbands are great if you are thinking of wearing your hair down for your wedding day.
