ODALISQUE

Odalisque is a dupe to Cire Trudon with its blend of orange blossom, wild juniper, vanilla and Sicilian lemons. The main aroma of this one is the orange blossom. It’s strong and refreshing but relaxing like a bergamot, think spa aroma. There’s a hint of citrus which balances the fragrance out superbly to stop it being overly sweet. It’s truly beautiful!

Ye Olde Christmas will take you back to Christmas’s past. This gorgeous unmistakable fragrance of old fashioned Christmas, the scent of pine, mistletoe and far away spices.

combines top notes of pine, amber orange, mandarin and middle notes of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, frankincense all resting on base notes of mistletoe, oudh and patchouli.

For the moment, the candles come in eight different scents but I will be adding to this in the future. They come in small 100g glass amber reusable jars, they measure:

Ruby Tuesday candles are hand poured in small batches and made with the best quality coconut & soy wax, a natural pure cotton wick, along with a blend of premium fragrance oils, to ensure the highest quality & the most beautiful fragrance. Made in re-useable amber glass jars.

Lighting your candle ~

The first time you burn your candle, burn for for 2 ~ 3 hours to ensure that you create an even wax pool across the surface of the candle to the edge of the container, this will assist in preventing tunneling & help promote an even burn for the duration of the candle’s life..

Never burn for longer than four hours at a time. Trim down your wick to 6mm before each burn, this will prolong the life of your candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

HAVANA

It’s hot and the air hangs heavy with the smoky smell of gunshot from the revolution, mingled with to***co leaves from the nearby plantations and of course the abundance of Cuban ci**rs.

Leather and Amber sweeten this aroma with the scent of old rum, cloves and bergamot whilst the breeze carries the complex labdanum, oak and moss that mingles with the faint citrus of nearby orange groves.

Welcome to ‘Ruby Tuesday Luxury Hand Poured Coconut & Soy Wax Candles’!

I’ve always loved candles, so when I decided to try making them for myself I wanted to be certain that I got it just right!

I also thought this would run nicely alongside our antiques business, ‘Ruby Tuesday Antiques’ everyone needs a nice candle to complement their beautiful piece of antique furniture! And for me, I get the added benefit of my house being filled with beautiful scents!

It all started when I saw a lady on a TV show making candles for her business & I thought ‘that looks easy enough to me!!! How very wrong I was! It’s taken me a year, lots & lots of research, hard work & practice to perfect them & I’m pretty sure I’ve got there!

Every candle has been hand made in small batches in my kitchen at home. I use premium fragrance oils & the best quality coconut & soy wax. I have kept the selection of fragrances to a minimum for now & chosen the ones that I think customers will love, they are all my favourites! They smell amazing & look gorgeous in the re-usable amber jars that I make them in!
