Nettlesworth Little Stars Baby and Toddler group -
Little Stars Baby and Toddler group runs every Thursday 9:30 - 11.30 am. It is based at Nettlesworth
Check out the new sensory equipment that has been purchased by the community centre with a micro grant from Ballinger Family Trust, Lottery and Durham Community Action partnership.
The Little Stars session is now held in the back of the community centre and is perfect for little ones who prefer a quieter chilled session.
Next Thursday we are introducing some foot massage techniques that can help with teething, congestion, digestive discomfort and help calm a fussy baby.
There’s still some spaces which can be booked online www.sacristonyouthproject.co.uk/book-online
Our brand new Little Stars session reopens on Thursday 21st September.
We have been working over the summer to transform the preschool session and have purchased some new sensory equipment.
The session will be held in the hall at the back of the centre which has a more cosy feel.
The session will be ran by a trained Relax Kids coach from Sacriston Youth and Community Project and will remain a small group. We know from feedback from parents that they like the Thursday session because it is small and relaxed. This will stay the same. Therefore to control numbers, booking is essential.
You can book a place via www.sacristonyouthproject.co.uk/book-online
🙏🏻🙌🏻 We want to say a huge thank you to Robyn from SYCP who has been running the session for the past year and wish her lots of luck for the future ♥️
If you have any questions please message the page or email [email protected]

Coming to Nettlesworth Friday 9th December
This year's Santa In a Van event is just under 3 weeks away!
This year the beat team have been working very hard to make this event our best yet. With the kind help of local businesses and our partner agencies, we are able to put this event on and bring the Christmas spirit to you in your community. We really couldn’t do it without their support. This year our locations have changed to ensure we visit as many different communities as we can over the course of 3 days. The event is free of charge for all involved and it will allow you and your family to come visit Santa.
Santa is really looking forward to meeting so many nice children in our community and you may even get a little present from him. For Santa to be able to visit so many places in one weekend, we are going mobile in the Police Van. This means that our events will be held outdoors so please remember to wrap up warm for the occasion. There will be plenty to see and your children can even write a letter to Santa.
Thank you for your continued support and we cannot wait to see so many of you.
See you all soon!🎄🎅
