For this weeks 🌺 Flowering Friday 🌸 we have...

The Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera bridgesii) 🌿 with these big, beautifully striking fuchsia flowers!

It is know to flower 🌼 from December onwards (hence the name), however mine has just started up now all will probably carry on flowering throughout the year.
Although being called a cactus 🌵, it is not as drought tolerant as you might thing and likes to be
watered 💦 frequently during growth periods.
It is really easy to take cutting from these guys too, making it easy to end up with a lovely little forest of them ! 💚🌴

🌿BUTTERWORT🌿
a species of PINGUICULA flowering carnivorous plant, with leaves which have a "greasy" hence the name.

It flowers 🌼 for really long periods with flowers that can be white, pink, purple, yellow, or red.

These are especially great in the summer as 🦟 fruit flies and gnats get stuck on the leaves.

If they are in the right environment they will have lots of pups and you'll end up with quite the pot full! 💚🌱

Did someone say JUNGLE DOG 🤣 ??? 🌿🐕🌴

Propagation stations are pretty but you can use pretty much any container 🍾 of water to propagate, and it can still look nice!

☘️OXALIS TRIANGULARIS💜
or also known as False Shamrock, Purple Shamrock and Love Plant. It has super cute, SMALL WHITE/LILAC FLOWER 🌸.

This plant grows from a BULB, it's really EASY TO CARE FOR and not particularly fussy (perfect if you are new to keeping houseplant, or you just want something easy amongst your collection!).
It dies back a little in the winter but come spring it can flowers all the way through to the autumn!

Did you know that just like garden plants, most house plant FLOWER 🌼🌱🌸 too (if in the right conditions!) ? So they don’t only have beautiful foliage 🍃 but also fabulous flowers.

This is a SPIDER PLANT (Chlorophytum comosum) 🕷🪴flowering back in summer.

This is one of the mother plant which is always giving me pups that are propagated and sold, so we have plenty AVAILABLE IN STOCK !
