West Cheshire Warriors Netball
New Club for men’s and mixed netball in Chester, North Wales and surrounding areas. Expressions of interest to [email protected]
So last night we took on our good friends Hustlers Netball Club Wrexham , what a game to end this first season.
Goal for goal, hustlers know how we play and it was evenly matched throughout the court.
We eventually took the win 20–19
Warrior was Tony
OPOM was Lillie
We can officially say we were undefeated all season!!
But next week we go again.
Firstly, wow!
This weekend we organised our very first tournament. We put so much work and effort into it and we’re so happy with how it went!
Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered, umpired and who came to watch! It was a fantastic day and you all contributed to that!!! 🖤💜
Congratulations to our tournament winners - Balls and Beavers. You played amazingly, finishing second in the group stages, a tight semi-final that was a draw at half-time but fought through to make it 18-4. The final was a jam packed and competitively fought game with you taking the win 16-10. 👏👏
Our player of the tournament, voted by umpires goes to Tom Sandbach @ Netball Club Farndon
And finally a big THANK YOU from everyone at West Cheshire Warriors
Watch this space for the next one!!!!
As next weekend is our first national league the training session on Tuesday (19th March) will be for those named in the National Long Squads ONLY!
We will hopefully 🤞 have our second training night which will be open to all shortly.

We were back in action in the Wxm Mixed league last night.
We played against .netball who gave us the best game yet!
Lauren Bradley showed her quality in the shooting circle pushing us ahead and guiding the attack.
Ria was voted players player for her strong defence.
We stay top of the league and more importantly loving the fun of a Wednesday night

Who’s up for attending trials and being a part of this fantastic programme?
Week ahead for Warriors, but we honestly can’t wait to welcome those taking part in our Annual Spring Tournament. This is our first time as hosts and we are so excited, a little nervous but also wishing the weekend was here!!!! 🖤💜
Saturday we visited NW Spartans Netball.
Spartans being one of the top teams in Englands Men's and mixed netball. We knew we were going to be tested and using this as a gauge for where we go next.
Mixed were up first, who contested ball and challenged in areas of the court. Good rotations and a strong performance.
A loss but great foundations moving forward. Debut for Grace in the black and purple.
Then men then faced a dominant Spartans. This team is redeveloping and going against the top team will only make them better.
A strong performance from Ryan and Marc.
As its International Women’s Day we thought we would celebrate by putting the spotlight on one our Warriors, Georgia.
Head on over to our website to read more!

Our club has grown so much and we’re conscious that we need to grow our brand and platform. We love promoting Mixed and Men’s netball and every person that walks through those doors to training is embraced as a Warrior.
Last week a local photographer joined us to help us with our platform and media content. Ian and his daughter, Olivia joined us and captured some of our training session, including our favourite warm up “Post Ball”
Iain and his daughter captured some great pics that we will treasure. It clearly shows the laughs we have at training and how much of a family we’ve come to be!
Head on over to Ian’s page to see his beautiful work and find out more about what he can do. Stenhouse photography
We can’t wait to see what he captures next for us
Yesterday we entered misfits versatility tournament.
Taking 3 teams and having to play every position, was great fun!
Team Blue did a fantastic job mastering rotations and playing some brilliant netball to win the overall tournament! 💙
Misfits put on a fantastic day and was a great way to start celebrating their 10 year anniversary.
Thanks for all the organising, hard work and to umpires !

Who has completed her Level 2 Coaching Qualification.
We could not be more proud of how hard Stace has worked on this achievement. As a club we jumped at the chance to support her on this journey. Here’s a small clip one of our training sessions
Fantastic effort Stace!
A top of the table clash against our friends .netball.
The win went our way against the talented side.
Warriors were strong on attack with Lauren and Lillie making the most of opportunities and our defence turned plenty of ball.

We were back for another action packed Saturday morning.
Up first our men's team: who are building with each run out! A strong performance from the lads. Calm, patient and strong. CPOM: shared between Ryan and Cris, OPOM: Tony and warrior of the match: Cris.
Next our mixed team playing some versatility netball. No matter the combos the dominance showed! Fast and slick showing our depth and talent ! CPOM went to Lillie, OPOM went to Neil and Warrior of the match was Josh.
A new line up from across the warriors club! Some returning faces to save the day! (Aka Jon) Out of the blocks strong. A little rushed in the middle and finishing strong. Our favourite couple smashed it getting PP and James OPOM 👏🏻👏🏻
One ladies space remaining - please contact Marc Caldecott

Congratulations ladies - we are so proud of you 💜🖤
Thanks to Trafford Senior Netball Club for a brilliant run around!
These girls came out with a plan and kept the ball out of the air with hard fast play.
Our developing mens squad had moments of brilliance in the play and put a shift in!
The win went to Trafford! But we certainly weren't disappointed.
