Stand tall at the top of your mat
Toes almost touching, heels slightly apart
Take a deep breath
Inhale - raise the arms, palms together, look up to the thumbs
Exhale - fold the body forward, hands down
Inhale - look up
Exhale - step back to plank, low plank dropping the knees if you need to
Inhale - arch the spine, push into the hands for upward facing dog
Exhale - roll over the toes, push back into Downward facing dog
Hold for 5 breaths, relax the neck and shoulders, let the head be heavy
Look to the hands, Inhale stepping both feet forward
Exhale - fold forward
Inhale - coming up to standing, arms up, palms together
Exhale - relax the arms down

It's garden yoga weather ☀️ It took me years of practice before I felt comfortable being inverted. Once I'd got used to being upside down I then built up strength, worked on technique and my confidence grew. Yoga isn't about standing on your head but mastering poses like this can teach us patience and self belief 🧘🏼♀️
