Do you like walks in the countryside, listening to the birds and letting time go by? If you do, why not take some time out and stay for a few nights. The property is approximately 15 minutes from Matlock, 20 minutes from Chatsworth and 25 minutes from Bakewell.

Chesterfield is home to the Crooked Spire, so combine a visit to the church with afternoon tea at The Vintage Cafe nearby. It is a historic market town and is sympathetically modernised keeping most of the historic style.

Our cottage is south facing and gets the sun all day. At the rear of the house are numerous possibilities for walks in woods. You can make them as long or as short you like. Review our photos to see some of the surrounding area. The cottage is located in the village of Wingerworth with 2 pubs within walking distance. The closest, The Smithy Pond, is a 10 minutes walk and is situated adjacent to a large pond. It serves pub food and a good selection of ales and lagers. The 2nd pub we would recommend is a more traditional village pub called The Barley Mow, approximately a 20 minute walk.

Our holiday let is brand new, sleeps 2 people, finished to a very high standard and consists of a bedroom, bathroom & Lounge/kitchen. A Smart TV gives you the ability to watch Netflix, Prime or listen to some music on YouTube. WiFi is also available.
