🔮ANNOUNCEMENT🔮

It is with regret that we inform you we are no longer breeding any birds, we now only have our pet birds. It took a lot of thought as we absolutely loved our birds and breeding however due to work commitments the rising cost of everything it is no longer doable.
The cost of seed etc has gone up so much it would have meant we would have to higher our prices a considerable amount, which is not what we were about. This was a hobby and we wanted to provide good quality birds at affordable prices, this is no longer possible.

We’d like to thank each and every one of you that has purchased a bird from us in the past, we wish all of you well and healthy futures for both you and your birds.

Hopefully things will change in the future and prices will go down so we can continue doing what we love and be back one day.

A couple of our babies at the moment, these are from one of our blackwing pairs which are classed as a rare mutation, however we do have three normal babies left in the nest at the moment which will be looking for good homes in a few weeks time so we shall post these up later on for everyone to see

So we’ve been a little quite lately, our budgie breeding is still going and we will have lots of babies ready for there forever homes in the coming weeks.
However, the reason we have been quiet is because we took on a pregnant dog just a little over a week ago while she has the puppies, Monday afternoon we had these little beauties arrive into the world. Things have definitely been hectic, and we can not remember the last time we had a full nights sleep. But we continue to keep all our birds and other animals as healthy as can be ❤️. Meet the 6 little bundles of happiness 🐶

Some of our pretty breeders, a range of mutations, like walking down the pick and mix isle at Woolworths, can’t wait to see what we get ❤️

So our pickles has gone missing, he escaped out of the house on Saturday 27/8/22 at around 10:30pm. He’s been inside for 1 year due to being poorly and an old age of 18. If anyone that follows us from the Shirebrook area could please keep an eye out for him we’d be eternally greatful! He’s blind in his right eye. We just need our boy home safe where he belongs.

We have our first baby of the breeding season 😍. Nearly hatched.

Little tip for anyone that has ducks or chickens with the upcoming hot weather.

We’ve put some water in a tub and there favourite treats and popped it in the freezer. We can then take it out in the morning and they can peck away at it all day. Will help them get plenty of water and keeps them cool.

Absolute stunners! 😊 these three cheeky lovebirds looking for new homes now! Feel free to get in touch with us. These will be the last of our hand reared lovebirds as they’re taking a well deserved break from breeding for a few weeks to allow them to chill out and enjoy the summer heat.

Our pet birdies are having some well deserved time in the sun today and a cage deep clean 🌞 absolutely loving life.

Staying home for a few days will not kill… but that 1 walk could..

Dear Mum and Dad,

Let me stay home. It's too hot for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to.
And feel my paws burn.
I'm looking at you for a moment, but you do not understand. Because in a little over 5 minutes we're at the cool puddle, right? But those little 5 minutes
can be fatal to me. Because I sweat through my paws, and in this heat I just cannot get rid of the sweat. My whole body is boiling, but I keep going
And then I end up on the tarmac. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes flashing in the sun. My paws are burning, my
tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of…

Instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of cool water, somewhere in the shade. And best of all like in a cool area with grass.

Little update as to what’s going on..

We apologise we have not been as active lately, we do understand there are a lot of messages not yet replied to, however we do all work full time jobs and have our own personal lives alongside breeding.
We will aim to get back to each and every one of you as and when we can.

We have been on holiday for a few days so are currently playing catch up with everything.

We are still breeding, however our birds have been having a well deserved rest for the past few months, so our baby budgies are very limited at the moment as we have cut down our breeding stock quite a lot from what it was. Our babies do need a break and to have a few months in the aviary enjoying life away from having to feed and nurture there young.

Once again please accept our apologies for the lack of posts, updates and responses to messages.

Moments like this that honestly make us appreciate you guys!! A gift came today for myself and Alex so unexpectedly. Tears of appreciation right now!!

We honestly can not thank Jaime enough 🥺. We know all her babies have the best home they could possibly ever wish for, and for that we are great full.

Another update on our bird room! we now have laminate flooring laid and all the birds are now out of the old shed into the new one! Alex and Chris have done absolutely amazing building this.

So much so I could live in here myself 😂
