Resin Bound Driveway transformation.
We carried out all the groundwork a while ago, some building work was then undertaken at the rear of the property but then last week we finally got to install the Resin Bound System. What a difference !!

Another nice install of Radon membrane and Concrete to a few more new build plots near Bath sprayed with a curing liquid.

Couple more plots done this week at our Bonnington Walk project in Bristol.
We are installing Visqueen vapour barrier with visqueen pro double sided tape to dpc followed by single sided visqueen Pro tape over the joint. This is then followed by 90mm Kingspan K103, 500g lapped and taped for liquid screed. We have used a 60mm Cemfloor screed.

For this project we decided to use a high strength Flowing Concrete due to the weights that the floor would need to take.

We installed a 300kpa EPS insulation followed by a separation layer, edge expansion foam and Circa 100mm Concrete

Project Spec :

1: Remove existing Floating timber floor, remove void former insulation

2: Install a Quick Drying Mapei Topcem Screed bonded to the existing substrate

3: Install Epoxy Resin Dpm with a full Sand blinding to provide a key

4: Install Pumped Industrial Levelling Compounds

5: Install 3 Coat Epoxy Resin Flooring System

Epoxy Resin Garage Flooring

First of all we screeded the floor to a fall of 300mm across 6 metres to an Aco Drain in a high strength quick drying screed Mapei Topcem.
We applied a Liquid Dpm, although the floor was dry we used it as the bonding agent for the Sand blinding.
The next step was to apply an Industrial Strength Levelling compound followed by a 3 coat Epoxy resin system in Anthracite Grey.

2nd Phase of the small repair project. Epoxy resins are now dry, excess sand has been vacuumed away and Fibre levelling compounds are starting to be installed by hand working to the Laser Level.

Fixing an uneven floor that a local Screeding contractor to us in the South west walked away from after laying it 25mm out of level! Not from end to end actually wavy!

Concrete floor install to height..... no screed required to level this one.

Epoxy resin bonded thin section screed install. This one went from 10mm to 80mm from one side to the other.

A small Limecrete Screed install we recently completed on Gold Hill Shaftesbury on a listed building.
