Hi darlings! I’m feeling a bit social media’d out this week so I’m going to take a quick break to refresh my brain, squeeze my little ones and crack on with some dreaded admin. So there won’t be a live sale this Thursday and I don’t think there will be a story sale Sunday either.

That’s probably a great thing tbh as you might want to save your pennies for the 30th May sale as it’s mostly going to be RARE finds!!!! I know you guys love those sales and as always we’ll be sharing plenty of origin stories and educational snippets.

We’ll also be sharing loads of sneak peeks between now and 30th May as the girls are going to hold the fort while I plant my feet firmly on the ground again 🌱🌱. The only things they might not be able to help you with immediately are complicated crystal questions but other than that they should be able to assist you ☺️

Think about what you want to achieve, but mainly which one you are drawn to. It’s also important to think about which will be most practical. E.g. sharp edges are no good for massage, and smaller pieces may be better for transport.

We recently forged a new business deal with a UK based wholesaler who is refreshingly different from some of the old school wholesalers in this country! Super hot on ethical selling and actually has refreshingly different stock. It’s been feeling a little stagnant as much as I want to support wholesalers here and then bam just like that we had a chat with these guys and they just get it. So curated boxes specifically for our Sunday Story Sale will become a regular gig with these guys. Can’t wait to see them grow!

Another little Instagram vanity metric milestone to add to the collection! 👍 That being said it’s a good opportunity to reflect on recent events. We took some very big leaps of faith this year, and it would appear things are (dare I say it) on the up here at Lillian Lacey.

The main reason this has been possible has been you wonderful people who have supported us every week to keep going even in the most difficult moments! We don’t sugarcoat things here at LL, and tbh last year sucked royally. Between a broken economy, major health issues and my own stubbornness to see the bigger picture, it was a tough gig truth be told.

We let go of our shop unit, Etsy we’ve basically closed down now, and we have quite literally put all our eggs in one basket with Instagram as our only platform, which is scary AF but it’s going so much better than I was expecting 🤞

Recently, through the employment of truly amazing staff, I’ve learned to put my trust more in others and I now know, there’s only one me but that doesn’t mean others can’t do what I do in my absence! l have also become more mindful that my own worth should not be defined through the success or failure of my business. And believe it or not, I’m slowly learning the art of taking time off and actually switching off a bit from the never ending task list that is owning Lillian Lacey Ltd! Most of all I’m realising when to quit. I’ve hung on to a lot of platforms and expensive ventures despite them not making me anything based on blind ambition and false hope. Screw that. Right now you guys are all I need and if that changes one day, I’ll pivot, adapt and move forward like always.

So thank you! For being there through the good the bad and the ugly. We will continue to strive for excellence, creating a solid community, accessible crystal educational resources and happy customers! Hopefully all while not taking ourselves to seriously 😉! We love you! # # #
