This meeting marks the end of Group 2βs time in Rethymno π¬π· and indeed our 2023 project.

Over the last 14 days in Crete, our group 1 participants have been working in numerous different IT, admin and customer service roles π»
Theyβve also getting to know each other while taking in the cultural beauty of Rethymno and the surrounding areas π₯

π Our Group 1 participants took part in their welcome meetings this morning! Hosted by .crete our participants were given an in-depth introduction into everything they need to know about their placements...
π€ They also took part in welcome meetings with their host employers where they defined their weekly schedule and were introduced to their new working environments!
Participants also had the chance to walk around the old town of to get a feel for their new home! π¬π· πΈ

Once our 2023 cohort completes their vocational qualification, they'll jet off to the island of Crete to take part in a 14-day work placement π₯
π They'll come away from the experience with:
International work experience β
A vocational qualification β
(Either Health and Safety in a Construction Environment or International Computers Driving License - ICDL)
Cultural knowledge of Crete and new foreign language skills β
All of the above will enhance their employability!

Introducing our destination for our May 2023 placements!

π In May 2023 we'll be sending 16 of our students to this beautiful city based on the northern coast of Crete.
Hosted by European Education and Learning Institute, we'll have 8 participants working in Business Admin & ICT-based roles, and 8 participants working in construction-based roles!
