The Western Wave - RIME R&D
LAND HO! That’s our 4 week voyage of R&D, docked up and ready for the next stage. We’d like to thank Lakeside Arts for hosting us for the past fortnight, letting us stick paper storyboard everywhere, blasting out sea shanty’s, strong support for hanging off ropes with Maria Gray and offering technical support along the way. There’s so many EXCITING things about this project we can’t wait to share with you, but for now, in true Fabularium style here’s a quick draft of our version of a Sea Shanty. It’s been a fun few days in The Studio with The Fabularium Team! A huge thank you to our lovely pool of performers who joined us to sing! 🎄 7 - Performances in Tameside, Greater Manchester We were exceptionally lucky to perform not once, but TWICE in Tameside this year! We were invited back to Tameside to perform Reynard the Fox and There Be Monsters! We absolutely love working with Tameside Council because they bring outdoor art to so many amazing accessible public spaces all over Tameside, and their audiences are always incredible! We even had a few families come and tell us that they’d seen every show we’ve performed in Tameside! We’re also very excited to announce that we will be returning to Tameside in 2020 with The Hare and The Moon! We’ll be performing on Thursday 6th August 2020, times and location TBC. 🎄 4 - Just So Festival 2019 Every year, Just So Festival is a highlight to our touring calendar. We’ve been fortunate enough to be performing at the festival for 5 years now, The Town Band of Bremen being our first show back in 2015. Since then, we have worked with BA Theatre & Professional Practice at Coventry University students, who have come with us to the festival to experience the life as an outdoor artist. We love working with a new group of students every year, and this year was no exception! Thank you to all the Just So audiences that come and visit us year on year. It really is a home from home for us!
