I’m afraid we are unable to take card payments today, we obviously can take cash but we can also take bank transfers, sorry for the inconvenience.

We have good news !!
The Scumbag who stole the charity box from our shop back in December 2023 has been arrested & he has admitted stealing the charity box, he was in court yesterday & has been fined £217 & has to pay the charity £100
So it’s taken a while but a good result, I’m sure he won’t be smiling now & hopefully he’ll think twice before stealing a charity box in the future.

Hi.
To end any speculation about why Tracey & I have chosen to put our business up for sale; it was always our plan to sell our business in approximately 3-4 years time to fulfil a new business adventure which has been in our thoughts for many years.
We have always known that we would be the ones to end the business in the Taylor family as there is no one to follow in the footsteps as I have & my Dad has with his Dad.
I’ve personally done 38 years service in the business & Tracey & I have had the honour of owning & running it for the last 19 years.

Rob our manager who has been with us for 10 years & manager for the last 2 years came to me 6 weeks ago to tell me he is planning on leaving to fulfill an ambition of a career out of the meat trade.
This has brought our decision to sell forward which we hadn’t planned this soon.
This hasn’t been an easy decision as we have such a good, prosperous, well supported business but we feel it’s the right one for me, Tracey & our girls.
We are still trading as normal & will continue to look after all your needs until we find a suitable buyer that can hopefully continue the business for years to come, this can be a long process & have no idea when this will happen.
We’d like to thank you for your continued support & understanding.
