Enjoyed putting some new lining on a pug 🐶 Roman blind today. This was a handmade blind which the old lining had worn out, so was replaced with blackout lining. Also added some buckram to strength and give the blind more structure.

Monumental day, garage is finished yay just my sewing table to build. It’s been hard as my wonderful husband and I have slaved every weekend for 8 months. So proud of what we have achieved 🥂

I had the privilege of making this lovely keepsake. A loving mother that fell asleep and is now remembered 💕

Getting there Workroom nearly complete

Had a lovely request recently, a dear family member lost their parent recently and I was asked if I could make cushions from the deceased’s dressing gown.
This really touched a nerve as I lost my mother at a young age and I remember the thoughts and feelings I had just after her passing. Such a lovely idea to keep that person close to you. In the words of my mother

No new makes to show as we have been focusing our work on my new workroom. Work in progress can’t wait 😄
