When you’re stuck on a theme choice for November so you just draw yourself 😂

I don’t think I will be able to top October’s success but now my hand’s healed drawing myself helped me practise my drawing dexterity again.

We’re coming to the end of the year now so I hope you all have a great November and enjoy these cozy evenings coming up!

Day 5 for - A 1990’s film.

I have been away and not working on drawing but I really did not like how this one was going and had to push to the end but I appreciate everyone who spurred me on! ⭐️

Bit niche of a film but the colours were what drew me to it 🧊

Day 3 for - A Tim Burton Film.

💈Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. 💈

So for anyone who caught my story I had a little ink accident with poor Mrs Lovett’s hair which I managed to clear up pretty well but even after the hours of shading, colouring and highlighting… I prefer the pencil sketch 🥲 but not to fear as I took photos before hand and they are at the end of this set 🥧

Day 1 for - A Classic Monster.

Okay okay okay I am super late but hopefully I can catch up (hoping is very much the operative word here) but I thought ya know this is more an exercise of pushing my drawing boundaries and experimenting so here’s my Mummy complete with mouldy bandages - don’t say I never treat you all 💀

I have Day 3 already drawn but not coloured yet and Day 5 is going to be drawn tonight so hopefully (again with the hoping 😂) the next piece will be up tomorrow and then I am only a day behind posting!

My favourite month of the year is here and so is my spread for it!

I am taking part in a prompt list for Inktober starting today (I am behind already are we surprised?) so keep your eyes peeled for the next few instalments.

I’ve been practising drawing and watercolour pencils and drew Cheryl on the weekend.

Still early days and the paper I was using in my sketch book is not made for water colour but it was just practise so I don’t mind!

New theme: Twin Peaks ⛰⛰ (please don’t linger on the necklace - I know it’s not accurate but I don’t have a half heart necklace on hand so my own friendship one will be a replacement 🖤)

We’re watching season 3 of Twin Peaks currently and watched “Fire walk with me” not too long ago so I wanted some Lynch-Vibes for my September, had to be the longest spelt month though didn’t it? Could have done the title in a smaller size 😂

It’s tune to say goodbye to May and welcome in June - half way through the year already! And also half way through my Journal...

I accidentally skipped a double page before the end of May which is knocked my year planning out of kilter so now I need to get creative to fill that page in theme and also fit in the rest of the year in this journal to save only needing one for a single month 🤔

It’s super late but I had this pics ready since like the 2nd of May but I’ve just been so busy with other projects I never got round to posting so here we are!!

Do you know if you go through so many websites there’s only the same like four quotes for the Annabelle film out there for reference and I am confused because I am sure there is more stand out quotes than that.... Evelyn especially is such a comforting character but I feel like that has something to say about the development of characters as a whole in the film!

I watched the Descent for the first time and evidently it also was one of my first spreads because I don’t really like how this one turned out but we live and we learn!

The Crow was one of those films that just moulded me as a teenager and still to this day I am fascinated by the story that moves me to tears every time.

Slowly but surely getting my journal some filling and so excited for it to keep growing!

Small gift, big smile 😄

Sanrio month has come to a close and with that my cutesy, pink and purple theme is done! 💖

The business mantra of Sanrio is “Small gift, Big smile” and ever since hearing that I’ve always appreciated how wholesome and kind a saying it is - we have this idea of bigger is better when it comes to buying each other gifts when simply giving something that provides a great big smile is the best of all! 🥰

If you’re good at anticipating the human mind, it leaves nothing to chance 🪚

Full picture of my Saw quote page and a chance to show my face properly I guess! I have been a massive fan of the Saw franchise for years now and when I got a chance to meet and I took it with both hands 🖤 the pure joy of Tobin telling me Emma was one of his favourite names and he liked my outfit was honestly one of the best moments of my life!

Okay so this year I wanted to have a less... cutesy feel to my journal because I felt last year I did a lot of themes that just really weren’t me. March I did kinda cheat though and chose Sanrio 😂💕

These kinda spreads will probably be not as frequent but here is my attempt at bringing some pink to my daily life 💖
