Well, I managed to put materials away for 3 days before I got withdrawal symptoms. As I will not be doing any Art fairs until the end of the year all my new work will be available to purchase direct from me.
This one is 17" x 13". Cream mount in a white frame.
'Tranquility' £65.
Stunning in real life as so hard to capture true colours with phone camera.
Finished these two ready for Ashover today. They both sold very quickly. Had an amazing day. Met some lovely people. Thank you to everyone who purchased my Art and for all the lovely comments which encourages me to carry on doing what I love.
Been working non stop all week on the black and white collection. Still got a few small ones to do. Putting my pens away after Monday if I allow myself to do that.
15" × 12". For the lovers of black and white. A lot brighter white in real life.
A new one ready for Ashover. Black and white. Hard to get good photo due to the light and reflection. Fairly large.
17" × 13".
I will be attending this event with my Artwork.
Can now reveal some more of my work. Apologies if I have duplicated any from previous posts.
Been very busy getting ready for the exhibition on Saturday. Here are just a few of the pieces that will be on show.
This will be my last post for a while as I am now going to concentrate on working hard to get ready for the pop up gallery in April. New Artwork will therefore not be seen by anyone beforehand.
This new one is in a frame which I am hoping to do more of.
(SOLD)
Anyone wanting to look before the Pop up is welcome to make an appointment.
Also I will not be doing any commissions until after April.
Fairly large canvas. 20" × 20".
Very detailed. Hard work but worth it. Looks amazing on my wall but is for sale along with all my Artwork. Message me for prices.
I put a protective coat of varnish to finish and all are ready to hang.
Finished today. A few have asked me how long it takes to do my canvases. I don't normally time myself as I tend to only work an hour or so at a time as my eyes and fingers need a rest in between.
So I timed this one, which took 11 hours.
Found one last canvas, so had a little doodle and made life a bit more complicated.🙄😁 12" x 9".
Roll on summer when It's too hot to paint. (Only kidding)
Gone with the bright colours on this one. Feel some neutrals coming on for my next one. Ran out of canvases now so a trip out to the Art shop is needed. Trouble is I'm like a d.i.y. person going round B&Q. Bring home more than I went in for.
Hope you're liking my Art. Thinking of doing a Pop up Art and Crafts shop with some friends in the spring.
Started this in between Christmas and New Year. Not one to rush. Pure labour of love.
Christmas festivities won't stop me turning to my happy place.
Last one for this year I think. Hard not to start some more though. I call it my therapy. SOLD
What a way to spend time when it's cold and wet outside. 12"×12"
Glad to be back doing what makes me happy.
Back to doing my Art but on a larger scale. Canvases painted with an acrylic background then hand drawn with a fine ink pen.
No doubt a few of you will be wondering why I haven't posted anything for a while. Due to worsening arthritis in my hands I am now only doing commissions. I love doing the cards but recent work has given me quite a lot of pain.
Thank you to everyone who has purchased cards from me. Art is still a passion of mine and hopefully I can carry on doing some as long as I am able.
A few quirky Birthday cards
Finished these at last. Had a bit of an artist's block recently.
All done. Looking neat in their little sleeves.Time for a cuppa.
A few book marks ready for the Ashover Christmas Fair on Saturday. 7 more waiting for colour. Must get on.
