From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all so much for the support you've shown over the years.

The time has come for me to close Ronnie Roo's.

I would absolutely love to push it and make it work, but in all honesty, I don't have the capacity for it.

I have a huge list of why I should stay open, but also why I should close. As you all know prices have increased dramatically on everything, I now have a new job which is is almost full time, I have huge self doubt in my designs which from a mental health perspective isn't great.

I honestly would love to come back with the prints I have saved on my ipad so maybe one day I will but for now I will be clearing out the clothes I have.

I'm so proud of what I have achieved and I never thought it was possible but here we are. We smashed the anxious thoughts of going to markets, to putting designs infront of people, to the many late nights of printing all from my kitchen table, from learning it all from start to finish and just giving it all a go.

Thank you all so much. I have made some amazing friends from this too which I am so grateful for. ❤️

Happy Earth Day 🌎

OK so I'm a day behind 🙃

We had such a busy day yesterday which was lovely but we got home and went to bed 😅

Here's a little reminder of why we are Eco-conscious.

🌎 All packaging including our stickers are recyclable.

🌎 The bags we use are compostable and have two glue lines to make it easy to re-use them.

🌎 We only use waterbased inks

🌎 Our designs are based on the wonderful world around us

I thought I would do a post about me and my business just because.

I'm Kara the owner of this little business Ronnie Roo's. I always loved the idea of designing t-shirts. I think it came from my dad really, he has designed T-shirts for events for as long as I can remember.

To be honest at first I wanted a kick ass womens range but when I became a mum I just felt more drawn to what my son liked more than what I liked so I thought I'd give it a little go and created designs based on what he loves and what we love as a family.

My first designs were scribbled on paper and I sat with my friend who's an amazing illustrator and she helped me come up with my first 5 designs as well as my original logo.

The designs were just what my son loved and it turned out to be popular. As Ronnie has got older he's made loads of suggestions of what he would like me to draw. 'Mushrooms' being his current favourite.

I risked it and invested in an ipad so I could sit and draw in my 'spare' 🤣 time. I love it but I tell you what it's so scary when you first post a new design. I've had some new designs on my ipad for a while but I've been holding back abit.

I'm going to post them very soon aswell as some other newbies coming.

I think what I actually want to say is if you have a business idea but you're too scared to launch it. Just go for it. Imagine if it's a huge success....!
