International Women's Day Derby Festival 2024 Friday 8 March and Saturday 9th March 2024

The March - meet at 11am Saturday 9th March at The Spot as we march with giant puppet HERoes and banners and then join the big Market Place Marquee at 12pm

Women and girls of all ages participate in the march. Supporters of all genders can also join us.

We use megaphones to amplify our voices.

4⃣ years ago today, 25 year old Josephine Gilbert was killed while cycling.

Next year the uninsured and unlicensed lorry driver responsible for her death will be out of jail.

From the early days of Dr.Bikes to exploring the roads, we've loved empowering and encouraging people to cycle 💙🚲

🤔 Cycling by the river is great, but what if you want to ride to school?

🏫 Our recent Kidical Mass Derby ride covered 8⃣ schools in Alvaston that do not have safe cycling access

🚸 Derby City Council we urgently need better cycling provision for kids, what are you doing to make this happen?

After 3⃣ years of running Big Bike Revival events, this summer we're taking a break 🌞

But Life Cycle Derby have an exciting free line-up, including a women's only puncture repair session led by our friend Jane ⤵️
