Introducing - the 1440p BEAST!

Completed recently for Ryan from Sheffield. Who was wanting a pc to smash titles at 1440p, this build features all the latest and greatest in PC components. Including a B550 motherboard, 5000 series Ryzen processor, a 3000 series Nvidia GPU and a Samsung 980 PRO, to take full advantage of the B550s Gen 4 capabilities! This build is also sporting one of my new custom holographic stickers for that added personal touch.

Thoroughly enjoyed this build, and Ryan was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very communicative and clear on what he wanted and just a friendly guy in general!

New holographic stickers arrived! To give each build that personal touch, as well as looking dope!

Pink!
Another build done today for Dulcie, she was very impressed with the computer I built for her partner and got one herself.

Dulcie wanted the pc for gaming, namely for Warzone, Sea of Thieves and Minecraft. All of which this rig will smash out of the park at 1080p. Dulcie also wanted pink RGB lighting and a general pink theme. Lots of fun had with this build, not my favourite case to build in, not a lot of room at the back for cable management and could have had a few more holes so I could tidy up the bottom motherboard wires. But nevertheless the customer is happy! And that's all I aim to achieve!

Specs
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite B450
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600, 3.6GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads
Cooling: AMD Wraith Stealth stock cooler
Arctic-MX4 thermal paste
3x 120mm ARGB intake fans

1TB Western Digital Blue SSD

Another build!
I completed this build for João the other day. Despite the very limited pc parts stock online we did it!

João wanted this pc for some light gaming and as a university workstation with 2 monitors. We also decided to future proof should he want any future upgrades. The B450 allows this brilliantly, with support for the new Ryzen 5000 series should João ever get into more serious gaming. The 1050ti is a fab starting point for any pc fledgling, but without going too powerful, thus keeping it cheap and cheerful!

Had a lot of fun with this build, really enjoyed building in the GameMax F15. Lots of room, not to mention some insane airflow with its 2 WHOPPING 200mm front fans! Which will keep the rig nice and cool, and despite the size these fans are shockingly quiet

Specs
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite B450
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600, 3.4GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads
Cooling: AMD Wraith Stealth stock cooler
Arctic-MX4 thermal paste
2x 200mm ARGB intake fans
1x 120mm ARGB exhaust fan
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050ti OC Windforce (Second Hand)
RAM: 16GB HyperX Fury DDR4 3000Mhz (2x8gb)
Storage: 250GB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe SSD
1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, 5400 RPM
Power Supply: EVGA 500w 80+
WiFi Card: TP Link Archer T4E AC1200
Tower: GameMax F15 ARGB
Aesthetics: Red custom braided GPU cable that I had spare

Just done a bit of maintenance on my partner's PS4. Sounded like it was about to take off into the stratosphere with the jet engine noise it was making. Disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, and thermal paste changed out for some fresh Arctic MX-4. Now it makes almost no noise in comparison. Below are some before and after photos. Due to the construction of PS4s I couldn't get into every nook and cranny but I certainly cleaned out a hell of a lot of dust that had been accumulating for years and gave it a bit of TLC.

For any console repairs or cleans, drop me a message and see what I can do for you! :)

My most recent build for Lewis. He wanted a pc both for playing games and also for uni work. He was also after a computer that could handle Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War when it comes out. Lewis also requested cuatom white cables, so he could change the LED colours whenever he pleased with the white reflecting those changes.

Proved to be a lengthy build due to me ordering the wrong case (oops 😅), that didn't support the 360mm radiator. Mistakes where made, but that's how you learn! And we got there in the end :)

Specs
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk Max B450
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600. 3.6ghz, 6 cores 12 threads
Cooling: MSI MAG CORELIQUID AIO, 360mm radiator, 3x MSI 120mm ARGB intake fans
1x Corsair ML120mm exhaust fan
GPU: MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6
RAM: 16GB Trident G-Skill 3466mhz (8GB x 2)
Storage: WD Blue 250gb M.2 NVMe
WD Blue 2TB HDD
Power Supply: Corsair VS650x
WiFi Card: TP Link AC1300 Dual-Band
Tower: Golden Field Z7
Aesthetics: WOWLED LED strip X2
LINKUP white PSU cable extensions

Here's the recent build I did as a suprise for Cory's birthday. Dulcie, his girlfriend and a good friend of mine, told me how he was pining for a new gaming PC and to build him something that will handle new and demanding games, such as CoD: Modern Warfare, the new CoD: Cold War, ARMA 3, and even Minecraft. Me and Dulcie decided to go for a green theme to fit his current set up (as below) and to match his Razer headset. We also opted for an infinity mirror case for the aesthetics. As you can see, this PC fits Cory's set up like a glove.

I would have liked to go for some different parts this build, as oppose to the last one so all my builds don't look/seem cloned. But unfortunately due to COVID-19 Amazon's stocks were rather limited, due to this I went with what was available and went elsewhere where needed.

Specs are as follows
Processor: Ryzen 7 2700x 3.7GHz. 8 Cores, 16 Threads
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450-PLUS ATX
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3600 MHz
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC Black Gaming 6GB GDDR6 Dual-Fan
Power Supply: Thermaltake Litepower 650W
Case: EG Infinity Mirror ATX Gaming
Storage: WD Blue 250GB M.2 NVMe SSD (Primary)
WD Blue 1TB HDD (Secondary)
Cooling: AMD Wraith Prism cooler with Arctic MX-4 thermal compound
3x Corsair SP120mm intake fans
1x Corsair ML120mm Pro exhaust fan
WiFi: TP-Link Archer AC1300 Dual-Band WiFi card
Aesthetics: 2x WOWLED RGB LED Strips
EZDIY Green Custom PSU Extension Cables with cable combs

This is my own personal rig which I thought I would share.

Specs

Processor : Ryzen 5 3600. 3.6GHz 6 Cores,12 Threads. 4.2GHz max boost.
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-A (micro motherboard was a mistake 😅🤦🏻)
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz
Graphics card: ASUS Dual fan GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 VRAM (taken from my old build)
Power supply: Corsair RM850x (overkill, but wanted something I wouldn't need to upgrade any time in the next few years as I add more and more upgrades)
Storage: 250GB WD Blue SSD
1TB WD Blue HDD
Tower: Corsair Carbide Spec-Delta
Cooling: AMD Wraith Stock CPU Cooler
Arctic MX-4 Thermal Paste
3x Corsair RGB 120mm intake fans
1x Corsair LL120mm exhaust
Aesthetics: 2x RGB light strip (top and bottom)
6-pin red braided GPU extension cable
The Flash Funko Pop

I made this build on a budget, recycling my old GPU to save money, and made some silly compromises where I shouldn't have. But this is all part of the learning curve! Iv learnt more than I could describe since building my rig and fixing/building computers for other people, and I'm still learning with each upgrade or tweak I make, each time I get bored and re-wire my pc and each time I work on someone elses computer. As much as many people in this profession like to think they know everything.. I certainly do not, but I learn more and more every day.

There will always be someone more experienced than you who can teach you new things! Don't be reserved and arrogant, be open and curious!
