𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 ... What a weekend for our Kentucky Kid Eli. We are super proud of how he’s handled everything this weekend and his understanding of all events. Eli was off to a good start and warming up to being back in the UK riding again... however he’s been faced with some issues over the weekend! Friday Eli was building up steady and improving every session, we struggled with data for the whole team this weekend - BSB haven’t used this circuit for 3/4 years! Eli was chipping away nicely, until his last lap of qualifying and his new exhaust snapped the baffle inside. Saturday was Race day and boy did Eli pull one out the bag! Eli had his best start 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 and took nearly 9 places on the line. He rode fantastically and after getting caught up behind other riders he brought it home in P24. This was despite a faulty water sensor saying the bike was steam powered 😤 (Literally, what have we gotta do to get a break) Unfortunately on race day 2, he managed 2 warm up laps and the starting grid but then to realise the clutch had been burnt out! We are so disappointed that it happened due to the fact it was brand new but hey that’s racing! Despite this happening, it was good to see him improve his track times over the weekend and take in the whole experience of MotoGP.
