Glorious colours in Autumnal sunshine in the Wildlife Garden today.
It was great to see the Wildlife Garden on BBC East Midlands News on Friday October 4th. In the garden yesterday there were several Red Admiral on the Ivy and Asters, and a Small Copper in the Herbaceous Border.
The Ivy covering the wall is one of the best sources of food for the pollinators in the Wildlife Garden. Today it was attracting Red Admiral butterflies, a variety of hoverflies, blowflies, Honeybees, Ivy Bees, Common Wasps and Hornets.
