Art installations/teacher for The National Trust, ceramicist, artist & large night market organiser Sheena Holland has two sides to the business: 1.
She is the Original creator of the vintage Feather Side Tiara. Her vintage designs are in fashion magazines, such as Vogue and most of the Bridal Magazines. Her clients have included singers Pink and Lily Allen and Alan Carr. Sheena Holland's handmade headbands are one off pieces using Antique and Vintage jewellery. She has a shop in Derby which you can visit or she can make you headwear to match

UPDATE ON MY NATIONAL TRUST ORDER: Some of the diyas (diwas) I’ve made have been fired in the kiln and I’ve painted them with beautiful colours. Diwali at Kedleston hall next month. Don’t miss it! You’ll be able to Catch the hundreds of Diyas in the library!

I have been quiet recently working on a contract with the National Trust. All in all over a 1000 ceramic lantern pieces finished and ready to be installed in Kedleston Hall next month for their first Indian inspired light event to coincide with the release of Indian artifacts at the hall.

My first day officially back at work yesterday after 6 years being sick with arthritis and it was a wonderful success! Teaching 17 national Trust staff and volunteers to make 250 Diyas from terracotta clay. We worked in the grounds of beautiful kedleston Hall. The Diyas are traditional oil lamps to light the festival Diwali. The first Indian event in the National Trust is coming this November at Kedleston hall so don’t miss it. It’ll be lit with over 550 lights, plus garlands and light installations.
DO YOU GET HOT WHEN YOU SLEEP?Thought I’d give you ladies and gents a heads up on the best mattress I’ve ever bought in terms of cooling you during sleep and you can buy it from an independent local shop. I can’t recommend this company enough. I bought my mattress from them earlier in the year and I get hot when I sleep and they have a mattress that has a cooling gel top layer. No more waking up tearing the sheets off trying to cool down

I’ve done a group of handmade plate prints with painting layers on top. A series of silver birch trees and others. They’re acrylic paints on A3 160 g/m2 weight Fabre-castell card.
