This is a relatively small festival and we plan to have larger traditional ones return, but we wanted to celebrate this milestone. The pubs have been generous to support us and if a success we may try similar events in the future.
The Breweries Leatherbritches Brewery, The Brunswick Brewing Company Ltd, Dancing Duck Brewery and Castle Rock Brewery have brewed exclusive beers for the festival with the latter helped brewed by publican Ralf Hedge and Derby CAMRA pubs officer Mark Fletcher as part of Castle Rocks special Pilot Project of experimental brews.
The specials can be found between the bars and stillages.
Food
The Alexandra Hotel will provide its usual range of filled rolls, sausage rolls and pork pies.
Brunswick Inn will serve their usual food menu from 12:00 to 19:00 every day. There will also be a BBQ from 16:00 to 19:00 on Friday and Saturday.
The Victoria Inn will be doing burgers.

We are very sorry to have to announce that Derby CAMRA is no longer planning to hold our beer festival in September 2022. This decision has been forced on us because the proposed venue had issues with the availability of a suitably priced marquee, making earlier commitments within an agreed financial envelope no longer possible. This was totally out of our control.
We appreciate that this will be a big disappointment to the many people who enjoy these events, please know that we are equally disappointed. This was not an easy decision to make, a lot of hard work had gone in to planning but it is just not possible to run an event that is not economically viable.
However, the positive news is that the Organising Committee are focussed on moving on from this set back and are still very much committed to running a festival. We are in discussions with other possible venues with a view to having a festival early next year so that we can continue our history of popular, enjoyable and successful beer festivals in our city.
The comeback is on...
