Chris decides to go on a little promotional trip in Egypt.

It's with great disappointment that we have to announce that our gig on the 20th of April is now cancelled due to pub closure.

We were really looking forward to playing this new venue, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they couldnt stay open any longer. We wish those at the Royal Oak all the best in whatever they may do next 🤘🏻

Our next gig, however, isn't. The Smithfield on the 18th of February. Look forward to seeing you there 😏🤘🏻

WOW! What a great night at the Horse and Groom - Derby last night. On what was a cold night in the middle of January we thought we'd be singing to ourselves, but you didn't let us down 😁🤘🏻 What a great crowd you were. We really appreciate you all making that special effort to come and see us. Our next outing is the Smithfield, Sun 18th of Feb 4pm start. This is always a great pub to play, and we hope to see you there 🤘🏻

Happy New Year to every single one of you that has supported us, followed us, listened to us and laughed at us this year, we love each and every one of you 🤘🏻

The weather was icy cold on Sunday at The Smithfield, but that didn't stop the die hard rock fans 😎… in jumpers, coats, woolly hats, scarfs and thick socks, you braved it through 😁 we salute you! 🤘🏻

What a fantastic gig it was. The atmosphere as always at this venue, and with their crowd, felt electric ⚡️

Thought we’d gone quiet on you? We could never… 😏 although we’ve been MIA on here, we certainly haven’t been slacking in the background. We’re working hard on perfecting those covers you all know and love, whilst also trying to teach our new drummer how to play the drums… 😏

EVENING ROCKERS! 🤘🏻

We’ve been a little quiet on here recently, mainly because our next gigs aren’t until November, but also because we’ve had a big decision to make...

As you’ll know (or maybe you don’t) our last drummer stepped down, and we’ve been on the look out for someone who fits right in with the craziness that comes with being part of this band.

Chris came to our rescue and stepped in last minute back in August and we couldn’t thank him enough, in fact… to thank him, we’ve let him join the band full time!

Please give a massive welcome to our newest addition, Chris, and make sure to come and say hello at the next gig. Here’s what Chris has to say about joining the band:

“I am so pleased to be rockin' with these guys full time after helping them out on a couple of shows in August. When I saw the set list, I knew I just had to be in this band. Every song is a banger and took me right back to the rock and metal clubs in the late 80’s and 90’s. Can't wait to get out there with Paul, Daz and Glenn and play some absolute classics. 🤘🏻👊🏻”

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

It is with great regret that we are having to announce that our former drummer, Phil Bowdler, has had to step down from the band for personal reasons with immediate effect.

Phil has been with us from the very beginning, helping to build the unity of the band, as well as getting us to the strength we are at now. He has helped form the sound of the band that we, and you the public, know and love so well.

We, as a band, would like to thank Phil for his continuous enthusiasm and input into the band. This paired with the vibrancy of his personality made the band great. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the best for whatever your future may hold.

Due to the above, Chris Wright from ‘Sons of Purple’ has jumped to our rescue like an absolute star. Chris will be joining us for our upcoming Derby gigs at The Smithfield (6th August) and the Horse and Groom (12th August), so a big thank you to you, Chris! 🤘🏻

So, now that the important stuff is out of the way, we want to ensure you that Unchained is going to continue rocking the places you love and know so well, stronger than ever! We’ll see you all at the Smithy (Smithfield) this weekend. You don’t want to miss out 😏🤘🏻

Great night at the George & Dragon last night. Saw a lot of familiar, and not so familiar faces 😁 Our next outing is The Smithfield in Derby on the 6th August. 4pm start and always a good venue to play. We're looking forward to it 😁🎵🤘🏻

This coming Saturday we will be strutting our stuff at the George & Dragon in Belper. It's an earlier finish here, around 11pm, so we will be aiming to rock off around 8:30pm. Hope to catch you all there 🤘🏻😎🍺🎵

Our first outing to The Crew in Nuneaton yesterday. What a great pub that love their bands 🤘🏻 It was a great night and safe to say we will be returning, but next time it will be a Saturday 😁 Thanks to all that made it a great night 🤘🏻
Our next outing will be at The George & Dragon in Belper on the 15th of July 🎵🤘🏻

The band are really looking forward to playing at the Crew in Nuneaton this Sunday. A bit far for everyone we know. We're hoping to win over a new crowd with our tribute to some of the greatest rock/metal bands ever formed🤘🏻19:30 start 🎵
