🏆THE GEORGE SPARKES OPEN 🏆

Sunday was a day to remember at Kegworth Tennis Club! 🎾
We hosted a special tournament that brought together current and past members to honour our incredible Chairman, George Sparkes, who is stepping down after an astonishing 33 years in the role! 🙌🏼
Since joining in 1972, George has been the heart and soul of our club, tirelessly working behind the scenes, organising and coaching, making Kegworth Tennis Club the wonderful community it is today. 🌟
The day was filled with fantastic tennis, tasty food, amazing weather and shared memories, all in celebration of someone who has given so much to this club. 🫶🏻

From all of us, past and present, thank you George, for your decades of dedication, passion and leadership. You've truly left a lasting legacy and some big shoes to fill! 🏆

Here's to the next chapter, both for the club and for you! 🥂

Our new coaching programme is growing each week. Come along for your first session for free then you can pay as you go each week using the booking links below. Just £6 per session

5-8 years: 9.30-10.30am
8years plis: 10.30-11.30am

Our LED floodlight installation is complete and all courts are now available for play 🎾

KEGWORTH TENNIS CLUB MEMBERS.
Just a reminder that two courts will be out of action from today for up to 4 days to allow installation of our new LED floodlights.
One court will be accessible throughout the works 🎾

Installation of our LED floodlights at Kegworth will start on Monday 12th August.
Two courts will be out of action during the works which will last up to 4 days. Our single court will remain accessible throughout.
The project is made possible by a £10,000 grant from the East Midlands Airport Community Fund

We are delighted to announce that Kegworth Tennis Club has been awarded £10,000 from the East Midlands Airport Community Fund to convert our floodlights to LEDs.
Excited to start this project which will reduce the cost of running the floodlights and our carbon footprint while also future-proofing floodlit play. WIN-WIN-WIN 🎉🎉🎉

Both Ladies team and Men’s 2 were rained off - hopefully a full programme of matches this week 🎾

As the football season draws to and end, so does our football pontoon competition. Lots of happy winners throughout the year and we’ve RAISED AN AMAZING £480 for CLUB FUNDS 😀
