A wonderful morning! Enjoyed a visit from the hot air balloon - it was so exciting! The children loved it. Thank you to the wonderful team who brought it to school. Check out the Balloon festival coming up in July 😉

Are your children starting high school in September? High school items run in inches and it can be tricky to get the right size. Bring them with you this Saturday to try items on and avoid all the faff 😀

Please could we ask everyone in our community to be vigilant near school, especially out of school hours. Recently, there have been incidents of vandalism and criminal damage, resulting in thousands of pounds cost to school - money we should be spending on our children, thank you. All incidents have been reported to police.

Doncaster SENDIAS Service will be attending our next Coffee Morning to speak with parents and take any questions you may have. If you are unfamiliar with The Doncaster Sendias Service, here is a little update on what they do:

Doncaster SENDIAS provides FREE information, advice and support (IAS) to parents, carers, children and young people (0-25) in regards to Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support. This includes: advice on SEN provision in settings, the statutory assessment process and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). We can also help with issues including: school exclusions, transition, transport, dispute resolution and appeals to the Special Educational Needs Disability Tribunal (SENDIST).

So if you have any questions or queries on any of the above topics, please join us on 16th April 2024.

In case you missed it, the next Parent/Carer Coffee Morning is happening on 16th April 2024 at the Carers Centre in Doncaster. We will put the kettle on and we hope to see new and old faces there!

Come along to have a chat in an understanding environment, and meet other parents/carers.
