Today we are trying a new vegetarian flavour! Yay! In Argentina is called Humita .
These empanadas are made of corn in a creamy white sauce with some spices and a touch, just a touch, of cheese to add a bit more flavour.

Wow!! I'm still pumped...what a day yesterday!
First introduction of artisan Argentine empanadas to Dorking!
Thank you so much to for the opportunity to present them in their amazing place. And thank you so, so much to Kate, for believing in me and to all the stuff at the GK for being so amazing, lovely and for keeping me topped up with delicious mocktails (and super nice cocktails after we finish too!!).
Thank you to all my friends who came to support me too. You know who you are. It meant a lot 💛

Hard work and lots of nerves but I think it went well. Adrenaline through the roof when that first order came through! But the GK staff were amazing, supportive and super efficient.

Why 'Enlaboca' ? First of all, because the mouth is the part of the body we use to eat and drink. It is what we use as one of our five senses. And here, we invite you to try new food with new and delicious flavours to enhance your sense of taste.

But it is also part of my origins, my childhood, me. I was born in Buenos Aires. And La Boca is a beautiful and famous neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. It is a vibrant place, very lively, full of colour, history and tango.

I want to bring a little part of all that to you, through food, through empanadas, one of my very favourites meals, and my family's.
