We are now in full moon energy, a time when emotions can be heightened and everything feel more intense as the moon helps us to release what is no longer wanted.
Whatever is happening this weekend for you, aim to tap in to the "love" that the moon is showing you at this time. Imagine her sending loving rays down to you as you sit quietly and thank her for her guidance.
For me, at times I find that "negative" feelings arise at this time (though thankfully, not this time round). They are just emotions coming to the surface that are ready to be acknowledged, dealt with and released.
How do we deal with the emotions? Well there are many ways, but first step is to recognise that whatever is happening IS the moon showing us what is ready to be released and that any uncomfortable situations are happening "for" you, not "to" you.
If you have a favourite therapist, coach or healer, you can then mention this situation at your next session with them, and together you can release the emotions that triggered you at the time of the full moon.
Some people also like to try "tapping" on their own to begin the release closer to the event, though this works better for some than others. You can just tap with the tips of your fingers on your thymus gland (the lump in the centre of your chest where a pendant would naturally fall), tap on the back or side of your hand, or watch a full routine by searching EFT tapping online.
However it is often easier to release the emotion or issue that needs to be cleared with the help of a Therapist, Coach or Healer.
If something comes up for you over the next few days, do feel free to contact me or any of the other lovely therapists that you feel drawn to.
With love,
Vicki x
For those of you who created a list of things they no longer wanted in their lives in the full moon two weeks ago, and wrote down what you wanted instead, this is the time to focus more on those things you said you wanted.
Write down, draw, or look at photos of what you would like to create in your new life. Something you are passionate about and want to do more of, or learn to do. Or even just how you'd like to feel.
Then focus for the next two weeks on this intention when you can, knowing that you can measure your progress at the next full moon! :-)
If you're not sure what you want in your life, the lovely Hannah Dudley has uploaded a meditation in our Facebook Group "Safe Harbour" which may help called "Vision Journey".
See you there! :-)
I once watched a video where they did an experiment by asking women and girls separately, what they didn't like about their bodies. The girls answers were identical to the Mums, even though their bodies weren't fully grown.
Being kind, or unkind to ourselves begins when we are young, when we hear what adults say to themselves and to us. As children, we can even sense what our parents are thinking at times!
So be kind to a child you love, and kind to yourself by developing the self-affirming practices in this book "Daphne and the Smiley Shells". You will benefit, and so will a child you love. Available on Amazon Uk.
Go on, Christmas is coming....
I'm experimenting with talking about my story book "Daphne and the Smiley Shells". Hope what I'm saying makes sense lol! :-)
I just wanted to share this charming and uplifting "Grounding and Releasing" yoga video from the lovely - please consider supporting her work by donating here http://PayPal.me/emmaslightyoga and share the video if you enjoy it. Also visit her page "Emmas Light Yoga" for more information and further videos :-)
We are currently in Full Moon energy, which began yesterday. The full moon invites us to celebrate our lives and achievements, but also to notice what no longer serves us. But, here's a question - how do we know what no longer serves us?
Well you may have noticed certain aspects of your life that have been annoying you recently. Or some kind of "bad luck". Or an overfull drawer. Or a series of events that have made you feel down. And that's Ok. We can celebrate those moments. Because, guess what? That's Life showing us what no longer serves us!
So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to write down a list of the most important things that no longer serve me. Not an exhaustive list, because that might take me into a downward spiral and we want to keep our energy good if possible.
Then I'm going to use that list as a guideline for what I "do" want. And I'm going to write that down as if it's already true. So, for example, if I felt my wardrobe was overfull, I might write "my wardrobe is tidy and uncluttered". If I felt overwhelmed by work I might write "I have all the time I need to do everything that is important in my work". If there was a problem with a relationship I might write "my life and my relationships are nourishing, calm and peaceful".
Then, on a piece of paper or in a journal, I will decide which of these are most important to me and draw a childlike sketch to represent the desired situation, and be grateful for it as if it has already happened.
Some people like to burn or bury in soil the lists they write in the full moon, but for me, in terms of letting go, I'm happy to rip up the list of unwanted things and pop it in the recycling for the bin men to take away for me.
One of the things I will be letting go of this time is the feeling of a tense and fearful world. And I'll be writing about a calm, happy and peaceful world where everyone is treated with respect and the overwhelming feeling in the atmosphere is love.
How about you?
Does your dog rush around the garden, barking hysterically, before rushing back indoors during fireworks?
Do they show signs of anxiety and are unable to relax until the fireworks have ended?
Do you worry about leaving them alone on nights when you know there will be fireworks in your area?
Fireworks can be frightening to many dogs and other animals and over the next few weeks, many people will be having firework displays for Diwali, Halloween and Bonfire night.
To help as many animals as possible, I am sending out FREE healing on 3 separate days to all animals adversely affected by fireworks. If you would like your animal to be included in my healing list, please let me know by clicking the link below:

With the New Moon Eclipse in Scorpio approaching, you may be feeling some tension in the air. It is time to let go of something, it's important to stay calm at this time if you can. I was aiming to recollect when I felt the calmest and I remembered a meditation I had experienced once a long time ago.
Try this if you are in the need of some calm.
You find yourself floating on a calm lake. the water is warm, and the sun shines gently down on you. The air is still, just carrying the sound of nature to you... birds, rustling leaves, the lap of the water on the shore.
As you lie there, you feel supported, even cradled by the lake, and you sense any tension draining from your body through your toes and fingers. Take some deep breaths in and breathe out slowly as you sense the tense energy leaving your body.
Float there for as long as you can before returning back to your body and the room around you.
Enjoy! x
Discover one of the ways Paddington Bear and Her late Majesty the Queen were alike, and how you can also create a difference in the world...
Always See The Light In Others - Vicki Tongeman "See the light in others and treat them as if that is all you see”. This is what Paddington Bear, and her late Majesty, did so well.
This is one of my main aims in life, to feel calm and peaceful. In so doing, I know that I am supporting my health, as when I am relaxed and peaceful, my body can restore itself, which it cannot do when I am stressed.
I also know that I am radiating peace out to my environment, thereby positively affecting those around me and the world in general.
Of course I am not always peaceful, but I have tools that can help me feel this more often. And I can share a few of them here with you as gentle reminders.
❤️ Avoid the news as much as possible. Yes, stay informed, but stick to the headlines, preferably in writing, and switch off repetitive news on the TV or radio. Research only what interests and will help you in some way.
❤️ Limit the amount of time you spend with negative-thinking or boisterous people, especially if you are also an HSP or introvert. It's not always possible to cut these people out of your life as some suggest is necessary, they may be family or work colleagues. But you can control how much time you spend with them, and perhaps also divert the conversation if it feels less than positive to you.
❤️ As much as possible, surround yourself with positive friends online and off, positive music, films, podcasts, books and other media. I'm a great fan of kids films containing positive messages like Frozen 2, Sing, The Rise of the Guardians, Red and Raya and the Dragons.
❤️ Practise gratitude for your body, the health you have, the supportive people in your life and all the wonderful things that happen in the world every day... acts of kindness, the sun rising, the rain watering our crops so we can eat etc... anything you can think of! You get more of what you focus on!
❤️ Practise body movement to help release the emotions you collect in the body every day - it doesn't have to be sporty or strenuous, even a walk, a little yoga or a dance in the kitchen will do!
❤️ Talk to a supportive friend or a therapist like myself who can help to ease your mind through listening, meditation and transformational coaching. Whatever is going on in the outside world, we can still feel peaceful on the inside.. most of the time... with a little help.

What if Daphne's story isn't just a children's story? The story of "Daphne and the Smiley Shells" is written with children in mind, because it's important to give our children the tools they need to support themselves in todays ever changing world and when they are young is the time they will absorb beliefs and habits easily and for life. Think about it, do you still have a habit of cleaning your teeth?
For some of us though, the message to support, congratulate and nourish ourselves didn't come to us at a young age. And many of us here are facing challenges every day, either as entrepreneurs or employees and family members - challenges that maybe we never knew we would face in our younger years. And like every child, we won't get everything right and we will make mistakes.
So we have a choice. We can criticise ourselves, beat ourselves up and keep reminding ourselves of our faults. An all too familiar route for many of us, I'm sure.
Or we can celebrate that we tried and all the things we have learned on the journey. And we can be grateful for what is, and what will be. Now, doesn't that feel better?
If you'd like to read a story that will inspire you to do this more often and help you to build a habit of self nourishment that will help you to go even further in your life than you hoped, then you can purchase the story on Amazon Uk (link in comments)
If you like the story, do share it with others, including any children you may have around you. But mostly, know it's for you...because the more you love, accept and nurture yourself, the more you can do the same for those in your life and the wider world.
When two or more of us meditate together, especially with an intention of healing ourselves and the world, we create an energy which is far greater than any individual can create on their own.
This is why I create a live healing experience on Zoom every Tuesday morning in term time, so that we can come together to heal ourselves, set intentions and support one another with our celebrations and challenges.
Our guided meditations take us to beaches, islands, mountains, meadows, forests, even into the Universe. And often, one or more of our group will sense others from the group in their own meditation. All of us around a camp fire, for instance, or holding hands somewhere in the universe.
This is not just imagination...when we meditate together we connect together, even if we are miles or oceans apart.
If you would like to make some positive changes in your life and the world with the added power of a group, then do take a look at the event here and book a space via the link to eventbrite. 10.45am -12.15 BST on Tuesday mornings in term time x

I love the summer time here in England - especially the early summer where we have cottage garden plants and the beaches are quieter.
Yesterday I took a long walk along our Quay and Beach, and was reminded of the days when I would "read" the beach and surroundings for signs from the Universe.
After that I saw an unfinished sandcastle that looked rather like Badbury Rings (perhaps I should visit there?) and nearby some markings that could have been interpreted as a simple Angel drawing, my first impression, or a bell.
I find Badbury Rings near Wimborne an interesting place as I once stood up there, feeling very close to "something" and cried from my heart "sort this all out please!" and although I wouldn't have chosen the way things were sorted out in mine and others lives, it all turned out for the best in the end.
So next time I went up there, I asked for what I wanted (mainly health for my friends and family etc) and life has been relatively gentle from then on 😊 Perhaps I will plan a trip to Badbury Rings for a group of us if anyone is interested?
Meanwhile, just a reminder that I run a meditation and accountability group on Tuesday mornings at 10.45-11.15 on Zoom that you can access from anywhere in the country, the link to our first meeting on Tuesday 7th June is in the comments below. Please share with anyone you feel may be interested or sign up yourself - you'd be very welcome ❤️
What are your plans for this weekend? I know many are planning to celebrate the Jubilee, which is wonderful.
However my go-to for "time off" is reading, and I've discovered some reasons it can be good for us, such as:
😊 Helps reduce stress, blood pressure and heart rate
😊 Helps increase focus and memory in the brain - I guess we have to concentrate to remember who everyone is in the story and what they've done...
😊 Helps you to empathize with others, even if you haven't experienced something directly in your life yourself
And my favourite:-
😊 Your brain cannot tell the difference between what you are imagining and real life. So if you choose a book containing a happy story you are bound to lift your mood! I call it giving my brain a holiday... ❤️
What is your favourite kind of book/ebook/audible story? Fact, fiction or autobiography?
Taking a "nurture" day today as it's half term and so no meditation group 🤗💖
But do join us for the new term on June 7th when we'll be creating intentions for the coming weeks...link in comments 😊💖
Just a reminder that we are in the New Moon energy and this is a good time to set intentions for the coming month, and indeed next 6 months.
"Intentions" are similar to "goals" but have a softer, more fluid feel about them.
As I've heard a few times recently, words are like "spells", what we say and think we are creating not just in our minds, but in our bodies and energies.
I feel like I am meant to ask you, what if you could start afresh today? Forget any difficulties or conflicts you've either experienced or witnessed and begin again, focussing on what you would like to be true.
And harness the energy and fire of this growing time of summer to take inspired action.
Enjoy ❤️
So how did you get on with my mini-meditation from my last post?
If you were able to imagine being by the river on a peaceful morning, then know that as far as your body was concerned, you were actually there!
You see, scientists have proven that your body responds to the environment you are imagining, be it calm or stressful, happy or sad.
As you focus in your mind on a scene of beauty and tranquility, your heart rate slows, muscles can relax, and stress hormones can lessen.
The reverse is true as well. If you are thinking about a meeting that you imagine will go wrong, or you're worrying about being late for the School pickup and imagining your child waiting for you at the gates as you screech to a halt nearby, your mind is already living those stressful moments and causing all the stress responses in your body.
And here's the thing...the calmer or happier you feel, the more likely your day is to go smoothly 😊
really can help to change your body, your health and your life. Give it a try ❤️
It's early morning. The sun warms you, burning gently through the mist which is rising from the calm waters. In the distance you hear the gentle song of the birds in the trees, and the occasional flurry from the water birds further downstream.
All is calm. All is still.
You take in a deep breath, noting the scents of the earth, the water, the vegetation and the nearby woods.. Feeling your body fill with healing oxygen and a little magic from nature, you breathe out until you have no more breath to give, releasing all that has been held in your body and no longer serves you.
You feel your shoulders release their burdens, and look around for somewhere comfortable to sit and gaze into the waters.
A comfortable looking log presents itself, and you settle down to enjoy the atmosphere, filling your senses with all that's around you. There's nowhere you need to be, and nothing you need to do, except to be here, still and calm.
I'm going to leave you here to enjoy... see what you see, hear what you hear, and notice what you notice. The world can wait as you "refill your cup" and remain in the present for a few moments.
What's that like for you? I'd love to hear your experience with this mini-meditation... 🥰
I took a risk yesterday 😏
Inspired by watching Hannah Dudley,
Mariella Franker and others step out of their comfort zone and creating authentic live videos online despite their own fears and reservations, I realised what a valuable service they are providing by stepping out there and making it possible for the rest of us to do the same.
Why is that important? Because what we surround ourselves with, we become. Recruiters for the Armed forces know this and schedule programs about the everyday life of their troops as part of their recruitment strategy.
Our mind begins to associate with what we are watching and begin to "code" into our brain the skills required, and we can see ourselves being part of that life or skill. It's how we learned to walk, and it's called "modelling".
So as I'd benefitted so much from others, and both my groups are about stepping up and building confidence (either as a Lightworker or supporting adults and children to do so for themselves) I thought it was time that I revisited creating Live videos, on this occasion in the group "From Self Criticism to Self Love with Daphne and the Smiley Shells" which I think most of you are members of.
The first live video I created described my progress with learning to play a song on the guitar from scratch. I felt it went well, but also that I could have actually been holding the guitar and maybe even playing it to make it a more interesting video.
So yesterday, with the memory of my friends taking their risks and having spent some time building my confidence before beginning, I had a go at playing, live, in the group.
My intention was not to be perfect (fortunately!😅) it was to demonstrate that when we are learning a new skill, it's important to celebrate our progress rather than let our inner critic tear us to pieces as it can so often do. And it was for me to be vulnerable, so that others could feel safe to be vulnerable too.
Did I want to take the video down afterwards? Yes of course! Did I fear I was making a fool of myself? Sure! But by being vulnerable, open and perfectly imperfect, I hope to empower others to take their own small steps in whatever way is right for them. So the video will stay.
In the words of "Daphne the Dolphin"..."I'm so happy that I am increasing my confidence online and getting better at playing the guitar".
Who do you admire that you can watch and "model", either by reading, listening or watching them online or on TV? take time to surround yourself with their messages and energy so that you can step into more of who you want to become 🙂 ❤
Did you know that we have a "level of default happiness" which was set in our younger years? Whatever level of happiness we mostly felt in our young childhoods, our brain has been wired to return to in our unconscious moments (the moments when our minds are wandering).
Since we are unconscious of our thoughts and feelings a lot of the time, this affects the level of "vibration" we are sending out to the Universe - which reflects what we get more of.
If the way you felt as a child a lot of the time doesn't reflect how you'd like your life to go now (you can tell by how your life IS going right now) then it may be time for some action. Here are a few ideas to begin to raise your vibration permanently.
❤️ Meditate regularly
❤️ Find ways to release those memories and guilty thoughts that still make you feel bad (a Coach or other Therapist can help with this)
❤️ Exercise regularly to increase your happy chemicals
❤️ Surround yourself with happy people, pictures, words and faces - the more positive those around you are, the more your vibration will raise.
What do you do to raise your vibration? Share below 🥰
There can be a magic in the way we listen and react to others. I cannot imagine the number of hours I've spent listening to others, whether it's friends and family, or clients in my coaching practise.
One thing I've learned is that quite often, when I listen, something magical happens.
People begin to solve their own problems. It's like they've finally had the chance to hear their own thoughts, and it helps them to get a greater understanding of what's going on for them.
And then I ask them, in a special way, how they are going to solve that problem. I don't tell them what to do, I encourage them to find their own solutions, tapping into their own inner wisdom.
I'm not unique, though I've had more practise than some of us at using the art of listening. And like all of us, in my private life there are a few people that occasionally trigger me so that I'm not able to be as calm and non-judgemental as I'd like. But I am proud of the effect I can have on those who seek my skills. So here's a tip I'd like to share about listening. :-
Of course it goes without saying that you remain relaxed and do not interrupt, or even think about what you are going to say next. Instead....really look at the person who's speaking, and see the light within them. See who they truly are...their potential, if you like.
When you see that, their subconscious and perhaps their spirit picks this up, and is able to move more easily towards this themselves...and that's one of the most powerful healing experiences of all.
Give it a try when you're in the right mood, and see how it feels.
If you're not sure what it looks like to see the light in another and treat them as if they are already their true selves, try watching the second Paddington Bear film - he does it beautifully but unconsciously with his cell mates in prison, with astounding results.
Have you ever sensed this kind of listening from others, or been able to help someone else through seeing the best in them?

Earth, Wind and Fire
In our "Magical Healing Journeys" meditation groups this Tuesday, we prepared for the strong window of "manifestation" that is the New Moon (and eclipse) in Ta**us to discover what some of our dreams might be.
Sometimes it's hard to know if you're just asked "what do you want?", it's too big a question. So we focussed on what Ta**us represents - money, sense of self worth, values, and possessions. And after a relaxation ritual we went into meditation, visited a beautiful beach (accompanied by our Guardian Angel) and gazed into a rock pool to discover what dreams would be reflected back to us.
Whilst not everyone shared their inspiration, one lady shared that she'd received images of herself running an energy healing group in her local area, something she hadn't considered before.
We asked our Guardian Angels who had witnessed these dreams to help us make them happen, knowing that they cannot help, however much they want to, unless we specifically ask them to.
And we discussed afterwards ways that you could connect with your Guardian Angel.
I was also asked at the beginning whether and how we will know that what we want is right for us, my answer being that if we are inspired to want something that inspiration is from our soul, but we can cover ourselves by saying "this or something better, for the highest good of all" in order to ensure that we and others will benefit from our soul's desire.
We are not in the energy of the New Moon until Friday 6.24am uk time and the energy lasts for around 3 days, so I will be reminding my group to focus on their dreams and ask their Guardian Angels again once we reach that time and space.
If you would like to learn more about the basic phases of the moon and how to use them for moving toward a brighter future and letting go of what no longer serves you, or understand the value of guided meditation for it's own benefits and love storytelling, then please contact me and I will let you know how to attend our meditation groups next Tuesday, at 10.45am or 6pm.
Happy Manifesting! 👏
Just so you know, this is not me in the picture I just have friends online from many parts of the world and I wanted to reflect that in my images ❤️
Had a lovely surprise today - we went down to the beach around 9am expecting to see the crowds beginning to build for the Bank Holiday but Hey Presto! Hardly anyone there 😊
So we had a lovely walk along the beach, listening to the waves and enjoying the hazy sunshine.
Now for a lovely cup of coffee in our spring garden before a little planting out of flower pots 🌹
What are you up to this ?
When I created this image for Easter, I tapped into as much excitement as I could remember from wondering what the "Easter Bunny" would bring, my love for chocolate 😍 and all the spring colours here.
In the same way that food is meant to taste better if it is cooked with love, I hope you will feel the love and excitement from this post and it will make your day just that teensy bit brighter.
Also however you feel about the Christian story for today, I just discovered that Easter is always scheduled for the first Full Moon in the astrological year. From this I see an invitation for us all to shed parts of our life that no longer serve us and to choose to focus on what we do want in our life - as if we are also reborn.
Who would you be if you could shed what no longer served you and stepped into your "true" self?
Enjoy your Easter!
with love,
Vicki x
I've spent the last couple of days learning how to record a meditation on MP3, add background music to it, turn it into a "video" for youtube and upload it! Whilst it's not perfect, I'm pretty proud of what I've managed so far...
If, like me, you're a Lightworker who wants to spread light and positivity around the planet, you may like to listen to the meditation, relax, breathe, and go on a journey with the water dragons to help troubled areas of the world.
If you like it, please share so that as many people as possible can support earth healing at this positive time of the year.
Link in comments. Have a wonderful Easter 🐤Namaste 🥰
When I hear about how indigenous tribes and eastern philosophies "pray" for what they want, it is a little different to how we are taught in the west.
Native Americans, for instance, don't just pray for rain, their Shamans dance up and down in joy as if it's already raining. We've all heard of the rain dance, right?
So if something that we want to be true isn't happening right now, perhaps we can take a leaf out of their book.
Imagine that something has already happened - how it would feel, what it would look like, what you are doing.
If it's right for you and for the highest good of all, who knows? You might experience miracles...
Enjoy! 🥰
As some of you know I believe that words hold an energy, and so I aim as much as possible to create images containing positive words on my grid so that you can receive that positive energy.
Gratitude is a word that has one of the highest "scores" in positivity, so here it is for you today.
Wishing you many things to be grateful for in the coming days ❤️👏
Enjoy the sunshine and flowers if you are in the UK! 😮❤️
One of the things I've been doing as part of my morning routine recently is colouring in Mandalas.
Not just any Mandalas but Mandalas that run in order in a book - indicating various stages in life.
I've had this book since 2011 and sadly didn't date the Mandalas when I began or completed them. Sometimes there's been a year or more between colourings and sometimes I skip through them really quickly...but not often. There are also several Mandalas for each phase to work through and I've chosen to complete them in order.
Even without dates though, I can remember the issue I was working on when I was filling some of them in.
So what's interesting is I'm currently working through the phase where everything falls apart to form a new beginning, and it's felt like I'm "catching up" on that phase as the colouring in has been on a daily basis. There is a Spiritual theme to this too - with much talk of a positive new era for earth in the Spiritual world currently.
Jung believed Mandalas were "the Archetype of the soul" reflecting where he was emotionally and created one every morning. I suspect I may be channeling the collective soul as I move swiftly towards the New Beginnings mandalas...
What is one of the positive things you do to start your day?
Thanks and for your encouragement to include fun, creative activities in our day! 😊😍
