Exterior paint & Patio refurb.

This stunning Black and White cottage needed a little TLC to restore it back to its former glory.

* The exterior beams that could be repaired were and any beyond repair were replaced, treated and painted.

* The porch was repaired and painted with a new roof added, a new front door was also installed to lead onto the newly extended patio.

* A new extended patio area was created with the added extra touch of a decking area.

The photos really don't do this finished job justice...it was a pleasure to work on.

Lounge & Hallway Refurb

This is one of our most recent completed projects the customer wanted to refresh the living space with freshly painted neutral walls, new woodwork and flooring, creating more light and space.

* Remove and install sockets.
* Remove old wallpaper and prep for painting.
* Board and skim the lounge and hallway ceilings.
* Remove old wires, old skirtings and replace with new.
* Paint walls, ceilings, skirtings, doors to lounge and hallway
* Lay new Vinyl flooring to lounge and hallway.

Through Lounge Refurb.

This is one of our latest projects the customer wanted the original wall that had been taken down poor to them buying the house put back up in the through lounge to create two separate rooms. The back part of the lounge was a waste of space just being used as a walk way to the conservatory and the cold, damp side office. Separating the two rooms has now given the customer a cosy, warm lounge and a much needed bigger, brighter space for a home office.

Started by knocking a new doorway through from the hallway into the new office, fitted a new door frame, architrave and oak door.
Built a timber frame the width of the steel that had been left in, filled with insulation and boarded ready to be plastered.
Put in extra timber to support the TV that would be wall mounted.
Fixed the bracket for the TV on the wall.
Cut and fitted new skirting to both rooms.
Turned the original oak door in the lounge round so it now opens against the wall instead of into the room.

Master Bedroom Renovation.

This is one of our favourite Renovation projects converting an adjoining bedroom into a dressing room and ensuite then adding a second staircase leading up from the open plan kitchen diner.

The Master bedroom needed some life injected back into it with the only bathroom being the other side of the house the adjoining bedroom was a wasted area so we created a dressing room and Ensuite bathroom.

We took out the original ceiling to expose the A frame and wall features, the original beams had been hidden behind plasterboard a crime in itself so these were uncovered, treated and restored back their natural beauty in all 3 rooms, the beams that couldn't be reused were replaced for new.

The Ensuite was fitted with a roll top bath, walk in shower and Edwardian style sink keeping in with the cottage feel throughout.

Utility / Downstairs toilet re-fit.

Install new like for like toilet and sink unit for a fresh, clean look.

Removed the old cupboard, shelves and cupboard doors to create a new area for the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Garden makeover.

For this project we cleared the existing garden ready for the slabs to be laid for the new garden buildings.

Once the top area of the garden had been levelled, new slabs and new turf laid we concentrated on the lower level of the garden putting in new Sleepers creating a more modern separation of the two levels.
Designing and building a Sleeper step to the side with the added feature of Hue strip lights.
Constructing Sleeper boarders enabling the customer to keep the mature trees and shrubs using a heavy duty w**d control membrane topped with Cotswold stone leaving a clean, crisp finish.
New turf laid to the lower level and the old slab path removed leaving a new, fresh lawn.

Kitchen / Dinning room Refurb.

We knocked out the original existing fireplace and wall which was separating the two rooms to create an open plan Kitchen/Diner.

We exposed the original beams and treated them to add a real feature to the dinning area of the Kitchen. Doing this opened up the area making it a more suitable space for modern day family living, but keeping the original, character features of this stunning Cottage.
