Celebrities do have the power when talking about harmful diets - as Teen Vogue wrote in an article, media is widespread and ultimately it is important to be careful. Especially when we talk about diets. With eating disorders being an important issue across society, talking about harmful diets is unacceptable.
If you are affected by this, there are some wonderful organisations such as Beat that can provide advice regarding eating disorders across the UK.
You do not need to change your body to be perfect the way you are. 💕
If you are interested in the TeenVogue article, it is here (Content Warning for Eating Disorders): https://www.teenvogue.com/story/kim-kardashian-met-gala-2022-comments-on-weight-loss-harmful-unnecessary

*Trigger Warning for discussions around sexual violence and domestic abuse*
We are angered and saddened to hear about the horrific experiences that Harriet Robson has shared on social media. We applaud her bravery for coming out and talking about the awful abuse she has faced, however we wish that she simply did not have to do so. Gender based violence needs to be taken seriously - regardless of whether or not the perpetrator is a public figure, or someone that is in your close social contacts.
There MUST be consequences for Mason Greenwood. He simply cannot get away with such horrific behaviour which is so clearly BEYOND unacceptable. Hold abusers accountable for their actions.
We are in solidarity with Dundee international uni students who have been impacted by the announcement from Jim McGeorge.
This is a direct violation of student safety which is of the upmost importance, and ultimately much more important than income. It must be ensured that these students have adequate access to accommodation - as have put it, it is an accommodation crisis.
We are sharing this following the Dundee Student Renters Union’s posts, which we recommend to follow and contact if you have been impacted by this.
