So the past wee bit, I’ve not been feeling the best mentally and decided to take some time to do something for myself - my friend suggested diamond art as it’s SUPPOSED to be therapeutic🤣

Instead of it being a relaxing thing, it drove me insane but it’s finally finished and it’s fair to say, I’ll never be doing another one💁🏼‍♀️
My love for Nirvana got me through🤣💀

Returning to the digital world of drawing come Monday, so keep an eye on updates!

🎨IMPORTANT: After Freya’s album cover is finalised, I will NOT be taking anymore orders for around a month or 2 as I will be focusing on the 2 animal hand drawings for the competition winners from before Christmas. I will also be organising other aspects of Scattered Art during this time in the hopes of opening properly nearer the end of the year!

I haven’t been posting much due to my little boy contracting Scarlet fever - he’s only at the beginning of it so it’ll only get worse from here😩

I’m unsure when I’ll be back but I am working on designs, when my boy is napping or both kids are asleep at night and I’m able to make it past 10pm🤣

We had an unexpected and very sudden death in our family last week, so I took a bit of time away to get my head around what had happened.

There will be numerous uploads of designs that I’ve been doing behind the scenes - so I may pop up on your page a lot today!

Eyes are now done! Nose next, then figure out the placement of the upper half of his body💚

🎨 Artist fact - I draw in basic eyes and a nose first as it makes it easier to see if it all looks good together or if I need to adjust shapes, shading, and/ or highlighting! Then I go back and do them properly💁🏼‍♀️

Ears are finished, face still needs more work just one the right side! Then fix the eyes and little nose😍

So I have a huge favour to ask of everyone today, that would be an absolute miracle if as many people as possible got involved!

I’m unsure how many of you would’ve seen the recent video showing the Warwickshire Council SEN meeting/discussion with their lovely MP’s (lovely is sarcasm). If not, I will attach a link to the video below so you can also see how horrific these people are, that are in charge of what happens!

For people that aren’t aware, SEN stands for “Special Educational Needs” which is children and adults with learning disabilities/ difficulties/ impairments, etc.

Now these MP’s in England, do not have the first clue about what it is like to have a child or care for someone with special needs. By watching the video, you will fully understand the disgust and rage of the SEN community.

Obviously, this is a council in England but if you look at the bigger picture - these are only 3 MP’s from one council that have been caught and are now potentially facing consequences. There are so many more, all over the world. What’s to say that another council from another area won’t suggest the same tomorrow, next week, whenever?

Please, SIGN and SHARE the petition to make these people step down so they cannot be in charge of what happens anymore. People with this attitude towards SEN children and/ or families should never be able to put actions in place to follow this through. Anyone with disabilities are still humans - they are not animals, they are not guinea pigs, they are not badly behaved people needing disciplined and treated inhumanely!!

Once signing the petition, please check your emails for the, “change.org” email and click the red button to verify your signature or it will not count‼️

I am a mother of a SEN child, hence how I am so passionate about this, and I’ll do anything I can to stop people like these 3 MP’s putting my child and the rest of the SEN communities children in any horrific predicament. Keep in mind back in the time that they are referring to, kids/ adults with special needs were chained to heaters and left to rot because they didn’t understand how to “deal with them”, and that’s only one things they experienced.

Educate yourself, build knowledge on disabilities and how they live in their own world, they should never be discriminated against and treated horrifically.

Theres so much I want to say but the post is long enough - so please, sign the petition and show them that we will fight back, regardless what area we are from. Support is vital with situations like these!

This isn’t even something I should have to put out there but I’m genuinely sick at this point.

I am purely an art business that works from home, I work hard for my kids, and I enjoy what I do. Being able to offer people something that makes them smile or that helps towards what they want to do in their life, is one of the best feelings.

What isn’t one of the best feelings, is receiving disrespectful messages that hold unwanted content. This has happened numerous times now with a few male customers.

I just want to make this very clear, I will ✨NOT✨ do any artwork for anyone that does this. I will not be disrespected by anyone, man or woman.
I always ensure to give 1000% respect, consideration and kindness to customers, I make sure I tailor to their wants/ needs to give them a personal and positive experience, and to provide them the best service I can - I would appreciate the respect to be mutual.

Update:
Due to personal reasons, I will be taking this week off also. I’m sorry if this causes any inconvienence. I will be back on Monday the 29th, ready to work my backside off again.

From tomorrow (16th of January), until the 22nd of January, I will be taking time away from the designs I have been working on.

My youngests birthday is the 21st and there’s ALOT that I need to sort out for it, and a few other things needing my attention.
