🤩🥰 SUMMER HOLIDAYS 🥰🤩 🐮🎶☀️ I’m taking a break for the rest of the summer holidays to spend time with my little family and to celebrate my birthday next week. Monday is usually Moo day so we didn’t have any plans. We decided to do something last minute and headed up to Wallington. 🤩 It was such a fabulous day out (apart from the weather 😅). Zara made her sandwiches for a picnic then enjoyed one of the parks, den building, games and exploring. Of course, we had to finish with an ice cream! There was so much more to do but we just didn’t get round everything in the afternoon by the time we decided to go. It’s definitely worth a visit although, it’s around an hour drive. 🌸 I hope you’ve all had a great Monday! What have you all been doing? Do you have any recommendations for days out? We are thinking about trying Washington Wetland Centre next. Has anyone been? Chelsea 💜

☀️🏝️ 🎶 SAND IN YOUR SANDWICHES 🎶🏝️☀️ 🏖️ We certainly had sand in our sandwiches and all other items in the picnic today 😅 🌊 It’s seaside week at Moo Music Durham so it was only right we visited the seaside today. We had SO much fun in South Shields. Zara loved the train ride - it was £1.50 per person and children under 3 are free! We played in the sand and she was getting closer to putting her toes in the water. We went to the park and enjoyed a walk and, of course, she requested an ice cream. It’s well worth a visit - we spent the whole day there and didn’t spend much money which is always a bonus. 🤩 I hope you’ve all had a lovely Thursday! We’re back to Moo tomorrow in Sacriston and Meadowfield for our last seaside themed sessions. 🤩🥰 DAYS OUT 🥰🤩 🥰 It’s Thursday which means it’s mammy and Zara day and my sister came too. 📚 We went to Seven Stories in Newcastle. Z loves a good story and we all had a lovely day. There’s lots to see and do and entry is free! We paid £2 for the story session which she loved but you don’t have to do it. We obviously had to get an ice-cream from the cafe to with strawberry sauce but I forgot to ask for sprinkles… “Where’s the sprinkles mammy?” 😬 They said Monday and Friday are toddler days so they have extra things on. I thought I’d share as we’re always looking for things to do and try and school holidays are coming up soon too. ✨ Do you like to see these things or should I stick to Moo posting? 😬😅 Chelsea 💜

🌟🌟 THURSDAY 🌟🌟 📚 We tried Toddler Time at our local library this morning. It’s such a lovely group with crafts, singing nursery rhymes, and colouring in (and it’s free). We then returned the books we picked up last week and chose some more! It’s definitely worth checking out - she really enjoyed it (and I did too). 🍦 When we got home, we made ice-cream cones. She loves doing it herself, just look at that concentration. Finishing with flicking sprinkles everywhere 🤣 ☀️ What have you been up to today? Chelsea 💜

💜✨ MAMMY AND ME ✨💜 🥰 Thursdays are my day off with my little girl, Zara. Today we went to toddler time at The Bounce House and visited the library for the first time. Zara got her first library card and stamped her own book card. The ladies were just lovely! 📚 As a teacher, creating a love of reading in Zara is so important to me. There are so many reasons and so many benefits, such as: 😍 Bonding 🤩 Imagination development 🧐 Promotes curiosity 🗣️ Develops language and expands vocabulary 🧠 Develops understanding of language 🌎 Supports learning about the world around them 🥰 Social and emotional development 📝 Supports writing skills 🌟 There are so many more benefits and this is why I love doing our story sessions once a term and bringing stories to life. 👶🏻 We started from teeny tiny with ‘That’s not my…’ books and now her favourites are currently ‘Zog’ and ‘Supertato’ at the minute 👧 What are your little ones favourite books? 🌟🌟 HALF TERM 🌟🌟 🤩 We’ve had a lovely time at Riverside Park and splash pad today with Zara’s aunties. We took a picnic and obviously had to stop for ice cream! ✨ What are your plans this week? 🥞🥞 PANCAKE MAKING 🥞🥞 🧑‍🍳 This afternoon, we got the ingredients and made pancakes together! 🥣 It wasn’t as messy as I expected until we put our toppings on 🤣 We had lots of fun pouring, mixing, scooping and talking about what we were doing (and eating EVERYTHING as we went 😅). 🦄 We tried to make ‘Ash’ from Sing and Sing 2 and a unicorn with our pancakes and toppings. ⭐️ Have you made pancakes with your little ones today? How did they turn out?

💜🐮 Today’s set up for our Croxdale Class 🐮💜 Our Bowburn sessions are fully booked for the remainder of the term. We have a couple of spaces left in Croxdale for our last session of the term on Monday.
