Cathedral Schools Foundation.
The Friends of Durham School is open to all parents of current pupils, members of staff and ODs.

Last term the Friends of DCSF supported the disco at the Chorister site and held the Afternoon Tea Event at the Bow site. Thank you to everyone who make these wonderful events happen.
This term we are looking forward to the May BBQ, Afternoon Tea at the Chorister site and the highlight of the academic year, the summer ball!
The Friends Business Club meeting will be held next Thursday, 14 March from 8am (for 8.30) to 9.30 in the Exhibition Room at Durham School.
All are welcome to come, to meet new people and old, whether you have a business or just want to represent your employer.
The meeting consists of a social get-together, a chance to promote your business, and an interesting talk from one of the members. This month, it is Corrinne Cooper of HH Insurance Brokers talking about the whys and ways of business insurance...and some clever tricks in its use.
If you can't make it this month, we meet every second Thursday during term time. Look forward to seeing you soon!

The next business breakfast will be held on Thursday 11 January 2024 at 8.30 in the Exhibition Room.
The last breakfast meeting of the Friends Business Club will be held at 8 for 8.30am on Thursday 14th December 2023.
A chance to catch up with old friends and reflect on a successful year for the club, with much comradery and a number of quite significant deals being done through the year. If you have not been before, you will be made to feel very welcome.
The meeting lasts for about an hour and comes with tea/coffee and a breakfast roll. It consists of social networking time, before a more formal 30 second to a minute chance to promote you and your business and is finished with a more in depth presentation. This month, it is Maya Polenz about an aspect of her fascinating heritage planning business.
Please donβt be shy, just turn up to the Exhibition Room at Durham School between 8 and 8.30 on Thursday 14th and bring your business cards!

The event starts at 8.15am in the Exhibition Room on the Senior School site. The event is free and a great place to meet parents who might be offering the business services you are looking for.
Come along for a coffee and a bacon sandwich (vegan alternatives available), and stay for the chat!
