Sunday Roasts at The Cellar Door

Choose from chicken, lamb, beef or vegetarian. Served with parsnips, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roasties, mash, broccoli, kale, jus and a massive Yorkshire pudding!

Available every Sunday 12-4:45pm. We are usually very busy so make sure to book.

Our normal lunch menu is available on Sunday too if you don’t fancy a roast.

Our New Lamb Loin Main

Our new Lamb Loin is served with garlic & Parmesan mash, crushed peas, and a lamb shoulder pie. Brightened up with carrot purée, baby carrots, and finished off with a drizzle of jus. This dish is one of our most popular main courses on our Á la Carte Menu, and we can highly recommend it as a light, yet filling dish perfect for a summer weekend.

Dark Chocolate Profiteroles

Our new profiteroles, found on our Lunch Menu. Made with pâte à choux stuffed with mango cream; served with saffron yogurt, pineapple compote, and drizzled with dark chocolate sauce.

Our Cured Trout Starter

This starter is served with a base of green apple sorbet topped with cured trout, Douglas fir ice cream, and yuzu pearls. Finished off with a garnish of grapefruit zest we can highly recommend this dish as a refreshing start to your meal.

The Beef Shin

Our new Beef Shin dish, found on our À la Carte Menu. Our slow cooked, pressed beef shin is accompanied by new ingredients. Served with a burts blue croquette balanced on diced courgette and tomato relish, a fondant potato spiral, and spring onions. Garnished with crispy onion and jus, this main course maintains its delicious flavours with some fresh summer ingredients.

The À la Carte Chicken

Our chicken breast main course is covered in a layer of mushroom and served with a thyme potato gratin, and confit grelots. With a sizeable confit leg, wild garlic, and leek croquette this dish is brightened up with some wild garlic butter hispi and wild garlic oil. Finished off with Parmesan foam and a wild garlic crumb for extra flavour.

Our Overnight Lamb

Slow cooked for 12 hours in a mixture of herbs and spices. Our Overnight Lamb is shredded and served alongside roasted vegetables, saffron and chickpea freekeh, and pomegranate. With a garnish of toasted almonds, parsley, and sumac accompanied by a side of jameed to pour to taste.

This dish is served on our Lunch Menu from 12-5 daily.

Our Crab Linguine

One of our delicious Lunch starters, made with squid ink linguine, snow crab, and a garlic cream sauce. We garnish this dish with spring onion and fresh parsley for added flavour. Served daily until 5pm!
