So we had this transit custom in to help secure it with our heavy duty replacment lock, barn door and side loading door hook locks all using the same key!

They needed this doing ASAP as was an emergency booking due to a attempted theft of the van but we managed to get it all secured and sorted for the customer who can now have extra peace of mind 😀.

Call out last night to an attempted theft of another transit. Drivers door lock damaged to gain entry then forced ignition lock whilst coding in 2 additional keys. In the process the thieves had damaged some wiring which luckily prevented the van from starting!

After updating BCM (ended up being corrupt) and removing the thieves keys from the system, we got this van started again for the customer.
We also fitted a quick and simple cut off switch to the damaged wires just for tonight, a permanant repair will be made once back at our workshop

The customer has opted to have a upgraded replacement drivers door lock and side load door/barn door hook locks installed tomorrow along side a pedal box and OBD cage. So look out for those :)

Here's some photos of damage left behind by mindless thieves who feel the need to steal people's property from vans, needless to say this can impact the owner by potentionally putting them out of work.

These photos are just to show you the damage and how the plates would cover them to tidy the sides back up. The drill holes or damage would be treated on any bare metal to help the chance of any rust showing up.

As you can see from the photos we can provide and install repair plates like those shown to cover up the mess left behind, We install some extra security locks to help reduce the chance of this happening again.

The plates are not anti drill plates they are specifically to cover up the holes and damage they will provide abit of extra safety from the drilling but not enough to call it a security item.

𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬!

Probably the most secure hook bolt deadlock for vans in todays market! The hook bolt deadlocks are fitted at high level where possible to help prevent peel and steal attacks and operate in the same way as standard deadlocks except the bolt hooks down into the lock keep for maximum security.

Comes with two keys and a key card which holds the key number for future duplication. Come keyed alike to work on the same key if ordering more than one lock on the same order.

Add cab deadlocks to the order and we can key these alike to the hook bolt kit free of charge!
