It may only be a 2 day week for me in Morrisons Eastbourne, and it is always busy,
So this week, I donated π to Defiant sports for their Halloween π§ββοΈ πͺ π₯³ π
Alex Mortain Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare came in a helped make grab bags for Eastbourne Foodbank the feed a family bags go well, and without the support of Alex, Amaze and Nurseplus we definitely wouldn't be able to achieve what we do, so THANK YOU.

Dave from St Wilfrid's Hospice popped in a collected the advent calenders

Receiving a thank you from the 2nd Willingdon Scouts for the π I gave them.
Simon from You Raise Me Up popped in and we made a couple of plans for Christmas

Our amazing poppy collectors are in store till the 11th November raising π° for Royal British Legion Eastbourne
I truly enjoy the job I do and supporting the people I do, and seeing the difference it makes, makes it all worth while.

St Wilfrid's Hospice
The Wheelie Big Vehicle Rally - St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) Vehicles and drivers dress in their best Christmas finery as they make their way from Morrisons to Langney Shopping Centre and back to raise funds for hospice care.
We're celebrating the launch of our wooden toy range, by donating some of the products to a local group.
Please tag your nomination of who should receive the toys.

She's the Community Champion for Morrisons, and has been shortlisted for the Eastbourne Business Awards 2024.

Thank you to Alex Leftley Mortain Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare for supporting me with the grab bag making this morning, and to Nurseplus who come in every Wednesday to make a few and also to the team at Amaze who come in once a fortnight and make me loads, with you all doing your bit, we support Eastbourne Foodbank get what they need, so thank you.π
I have made some more of the feed a family bags, these are also available in the brown bags, on the till tops.
Monday with the help of Brewers Decorating Centres Eastbourne, supporting me with a project, I was able to re gift some painting supplies to the team at Defiant sports π who will use it to paint their hub at the Archery πΉ
Was good to catch up with Loretta Lock and Co yesterday and see the fantastic progress they have made. Well done everyone involved.
Also popped in to Hampden Park Shed for a cuppa and a brief bit of crafting lol, if that's what you call it, again, another great group of people looked after by the amazing Linda Creasy supporting people doing what they love and learning new skills with friends and a cuppa.
Today I met Christina Ewbank at Eastbourne Unltd Chamber of Commerce to have a catch up and check in to discuss what we are getting up in the future, and then saw Paul Spink for a catch up about an up coming project, and the creative cogs are certainly turning πͺ.
Lots of things to look forward to, that's for sure,

All monies raised will go to a charity partner Together for Short Lives Demelza Charity

This week saw me catching up with people, sorting out the raffle prize requests, which have been coming in thick and fast.
Looking at the event that we held on Saturday and taking learnings from it.
Stated sending out the information on the Wheelie Big Vehicle Rally on the 10th December in aid of St Wilfrid's Hospice πππππ
Will be starting the list of people that would like a stall at the Christmas Fair on Sunday 12th November 2 till 4.30 at Kings Church Eastbourne βͺοΈ in aid of Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team. π

Grab bags for Eastbourne Foodbank were made by the residents of Mortain Place Care Home - Barchester Healthcare thank you and the young man that comes in every Tuesday from Nurseplus.
Without the support of these 2 groups and Amaze that come in every other Wednesday, we wouldn't be able to sell the amount we do. π
Lots of things in the pipe line so please keep an π on this page and spread the cheer.

Also we held the final of the sign language classes for the staff, which has been well received π
