Congratulations to Saltdean United Women FC on yesterday’s win. Not the result we hoped for, but Saltdean have been brilliant competitors throughout the season and are a team with a lot of potential. We wish them all the best for next season as they progress to the league above - and beyond!

It’s been a difficult end to the season for Town with around half the 1st team out due to injury etc. but we now set our sights on our final game: 24th March against Shoreham FC. 💛

The 1st team take on Saltdean United Development Squad in the Sussex Women’s Challenge Trophy Final this weekend.

Eastbourne Town FC Women have their sights set on County Cup glory this Sunday as they take on the newly crowned champions of their division, Saltdean United Development Squad. A tough game but it's a cup final where anything can happen.

Thanks to the all-weather pitch at Lancing, there is no chance of this one being called off. Committee members, Sponsors and Players from our Women's development squad will be in attendance on behalf of the club to show their support. Join us for some Sunday football action! 💛💙

CLUB STATEMENT | The Women’s 1st Team Manager, Rick Tate, and Assistant Manager, John Kofoed, have decided to part ways with the club.

They both have had a profound positive impact on the club, and the women’s game since joining midway through the 21/22 season. Rick and John led the team to promotion by winning Division 1 of the SCWGFL in 22/23, supported the creation of the DS team for the current season, and managed the 1st team to the final of the Sussex Women’s Challenge Trophy (to be played on 3rd March).

The club, and women’s teams, are grateful for Rick and John’s commitment over the past 3 seasons and sad to see them go. Wishing them both many happy games of golf, whilst wearing their Town beanies of course! ⛳️

POTM | Dibs 🎉🧤⚽️ Despite injury, Dibs marshalled the back line and pulled out some brilliant saves against Shoreham on Sunday.

4 JAN RESULT | The DS unfortunately lost to Mile Oak.

A truly valiant squad effort today. Despite only having 10 players, Town managed to keep a clean sheet for 65 minutes against hosts Shoreham.

Unfortunately Shoreham’s sub rotation, coupled with a fatiguing Town and an injured GK Dibs resulted in a win for Shoreham in the final quarter, but the team left with heads held high (and some very sore legs!!).

POTM for DS v Newhaven DS is Paige Yarwood. 🎉 Always bringing strength to the back line, Paige stood out on Sunday with a brilliant defensive performance.

New signing Gemma Vine is yesterdays’s 1st team POTM ✍🏼 🎉 A brilliant defensive performance, undaunted by playing against her previous team. Gem’s a dynamite addition to Town with bags of energy, passion, and strength.

A closely contested game today, but the DS were sadly pipped to the post by Newhaven DS.

Town faced a very different Borough team from our 7-1 win at home back in September, with only 4 players from the lineup making Billy Wood’s squad today 👀💰 Unfortunately the new additions to Borough proved difficult, resulting in a 5-1 defeat for Town.

However spirits remain high, and we’re ready to go again next week! 💪🏼💛
