A sweet dessert and known to be loved by many, the famous serimuka.
The two-layered dessert is made with glutinous rice then topped with a custard-like layer consisting of mainly pandan juice and coconut milk.
Coconut milk plays an important role in the taste and texture of this kuih.
Bihun Goreng, a simple noodle dish.
Specifically cooked with rice vermicelli (a thin rice noodle), this dish can easily be made by frying with leftover veggies, chicken and scrambled eggs. Adding a fried egg makes the experience better!
A personal favourite, Kuih Lopes!
Glutinous rice cooked in pandan (screwpine leaves) juice, coat with coconut shavings and drizzle with thick gula Melaka (palm sugar) syrup.
Absolutely perfect for an afternoon tea.

Nasi Kuning (yellow rice) and Kurma, served with a side of pickled vegetables.
A filling and savoury meal!
Penang Asam Laksa is one of many varieties of laksa that can be found in Malaysia. Packed with fish flavours and the tanginess of umami from the shrimp paste, the warm broth is very comforting. Loaded with rice noodles and topped with multiple garnishes to enhance the taste, this dish is a flavour of Malaysia and is very filling.
Note: When ordering the broth can be made without the shrimp paste ay request.
Kuih Bakar, also known as Bingka Pandan is very similar to bingka telur. The only difference between the two is that this baked pandan cake has the colour and fragrance of the pandan leaf, which gives the kuih a sweet and slightly floral taste.
Bingka Telur (Baked Egg Dessert)
Mainly made from eggs, this dessert is soft in texture with a slight crunch from the sesame seeds.
Murtabak, a household favourite!
Ketayap (Pandan Crepe filled with sweet coconut)
if you like crepes or coconut then this dessert is worth a try. It has a soft texture with a slight crunch from the coconut shaving, and it's not too sweet.

Fried flat noodles with prawns and scrambled eggs, served with a fried egg and bawang goreng (fried onions).

We are delighted to announce that after our extended break due to the pandemic, we are officially reopening and offering our services to all who require them. As we value the health and safety of both customers and ourselves, all services and trips carried out will be in accordance with the restrictions and guidelines set by the government.
As of the most recent announcement made by the Scottish Government, all services and trips (day trips and overnight trips) are limited to within the UK for the time being. Furthermore, customers should be aware of the current rule of 6 people per group which applies to certain aspects of trip planning.
