A total of 59 MSP's supported a proposal to create a Bill that will call on Scottish Ministers to introduce and implement a National Transitions Strategy to improve outcomes for disabled children and young people in the transition to adulthood. This Bill will require local authorities to introduce a transitions plan for each disabled child and young person to ensure that they receive appropriate care and support before and during the transition to adulthood.
