Thanks to all you lovely ESY yogis who came to our Yoga social today @broughtondeli , it was great fun and so good to spend the first half of a Sunday doing yoga, then eating delicious food and having lots of chats about yoga (and samba dancing 💃💃). Looking forward to next month's already. Thanks also to @nina.vinyasa who took the little video tour 🧡🧡

This is Giada our new Friday 7:15am power teacher. Giada' s background is in ashtanga and rocket yoga, so be prepared for a wonderfully powerful class start to your Friday mornings. Welcome Giada!! 🧡🧡 . We have had to say goodbye to Sam for now as he has moved back to Glasgow, however we do hope to have him on our schedule again.
Timetable Alert! Thank you everyone for all your suggestions, we have taken them on board and have changed the schedule. More changes will follow. But for now.... 💥Our morning classes will be 45 minute classes, giving more time for you guys to get to work so they will run from 7:15 - 8am 💥We have added another intermediate class which will be on a Tuesday at 7:15pm 💥We have added another two lunchtime vinyasa classes: Monday at 12:30 and Friday at 12:30 💥Watch this space for a 6pm yin class on a Monday 💥Coming soon mum and baby yoga Tuesday's at 12 midday with @tyogaclasses - very excited to have lots of babies rolling around the studio
I have been trying to do eka pada Galavasana for AGES!! After some fantastic instruction from Rebecca, the help of a strap and not the help of my jeans, I actually managed to extend my leg for the first time, so pleased!!!
It is rather enlightening watching oneself on video - it is very easy to be *hyper* critical! I am trying to open my hips A LOT hence one legged down dog with a twist, vira ii and extended side angle are all going to help. It really does not look it in this clip but I am trying soooooo hard to kick my foot back to my bum in downdog with a twist!! All I can say is that yoga is most definitely a long wonderful and slightly frustrating journey! Ax.
