I was assaulted by a Senior Scottish Liberal Democrats, but the party told me it was normal behaviour in politics.

I was trapped in a kitchen by Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP and made to listen as he sacked a woman.

Many staffers contemplated and attempted su***de because they were being bullied by parliamentarians. We received zero help from party.

Alex Cole Hamilton lied to Holyrood magazine, telling them that my complaints had been dealt with independently - but they haven’t.

I’m now calling for that independent investigation. Please join me in making politics - and the workplace generally - safe for workers.

I'm Emma Walker. I'm whistleblowing against Scottish Liberal Democrats.

Alex Cole Hamilton MSP lied to Holyrood magazine last April when he told them that my complaints of abuse, harassment, bullying, racism, misogyny had been dealt with independently and robustly. The truth is that they have not been dealt with AT ALL. I have tried to seek justice with the police, the media, ACAS, lawyers, the Ethics Commissioner and IPSO. They all have failed me, as they do so many women.

I am not unique. 54,000 women lose their job or a promotion every year for wanting to start a family. 45% of women in the workplace are sexually harassed, with 85% of those women reporting that their complaints weren't taken seriously. The thing that makes me different?

I was Chief Executive for Scottish Liberal Democrats and I was their mental health spokesperson. I believe that women's workplace complaints should be heard. I believe that political parties should be held up to scrutiny.

For the last six weeks I have been running a campaign over on twitter called She's Gone Too Far. I am exposing everything that I would give over to an independent investigator. People are politely asking Alex some crucial questions - and he's blocking them.

Please share this page with constituents living in Edinburgh West and North East Fife, along with any woman who has ever had a workplace complaint. Together we're going to hold Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP, the MSP for Edinburgh West and leader of Scottish Liberal Democrats to account.

I was gutted when Alex lied about me to Holyrood Magazine. Three months later I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. If I'd died, my little boy may have grown up to think that I was a liar or he may have had a doubt that the investigation had occurred. I'm doing this for him. I'll be damned if he grows up to this it's acceptable to treat women like this.
