Whatโs going on with divestment at the University of Edinburgh? A couple weeks ago, your Vice President Community Ruth made 3 helpful and informative videos to keep you in the know โ
We compiled the 3 to watch here in case you missed it, but be sure to stay up-to-date with what's going on by following your sabbatical officers on Instagram .
In this video, Ruth explains everything you need to know about divestment. This first part of this video covers the background of who is responsible for this decision and why it matters to students. In the second part, Ruth covers the last meeting of University Court and its outcome, and in the third part explains how you can influence the Uniโs decision on divestment! ๐๏ธ

Weโd encourage you to read the full consultation and respond based on your priorities, but if you are unsure what to say or how to say it, weโve put together a template response which you can find on our website.
