When seen the K board he thought it looked like one of the ghosts from Pacman and asked if I could do a pacmsn theme design.
So here is the finished deck. Chris is super stoked with it

Hot off the work bench, I have 2no K decjs and 2no J decks for sale.
Both designs are cruiser boards and are hand crafted from local sourced whisky barrel staves. They are £130 each + P&P (UK £6). The the underside can be left plain (apart from logo) or I can hand pyrograph a design of your choice for free.
The K board is 33.25inches long and 9 inches wide. Wheel base 20 inches
The J board is 33 inches long and 9.25 Inches wide. Wheel base 20 inches.

Oot on my WB cruiser longboard this afternoon for a cruise with my daughter. Was trying out RKP (reverse king pin) trucks for the first time. What difference they make for carving.

Today I got the test prints for my t-shirts. I was going to wait until we had done some tweaking (tweaking the black tee, so the red will be a bit darker but will still look amazing) and have the final version but so happy with these that I have to post the pics. Excuse the model as I have a face for radio🤣🤣
I will be taking pre orders for the t-shirts. You can choose from the colour chart below for the colour of t-shirts and we will print the design with the best colours to match the tee.
The t-shirts will be £20 each plus P&P. Drop off can be arranged if you live in within 6 miles of Elgin

WB cruisers long boards and cruisers are ideal for nipping to the shop, cruising the streets, going for a longer skate along the local cycle paths, wall art or adding to your whisky memorabilia.
Each board is handcrafted from reclaimed whisky barrel staves, and will be hand pyrographed with a design of your choosing.
Decks can be sold separately or as a complete board ready to ride.

Here is a sneak peak of the WB cruisers "G" board I made for my sons birthday, which is on Tuesday.
I think this is one of my favourite designs.

Finally finished off sketching and hand pyrographing my Phoenix design onto my Surf Skate deck.

Trying to surf skate on the new "G" board.

My first attempts on my surf skate. Takes a bit of getting used to, but absolutely love it

I bring you the new "G" board, handcrafted from locally sourced reclaimed whisky barrel staves.
I managed to get surf skate trucks, I was so desperate to try them out that I fitted them to the "G" board before I had even finished sketching my design on it.

The 'J+' longboard is coming along nicely. A bit more sanding & TLC then oiling and it will be ready for it's new home.
That's enough for today, away to have a family movie night.

Boards all laminated, time to shape them

A nice afternoon to take the bairns oot for another surf lesson/play about and and it hit me that these two things where my main inspiration to start handcrafting decks from whisky barrel staves.
1) my bairns, both amazing kids who will try anything, never thought that they would be interested in sports/leisure activities that I used to do in my teens/early twenties (rugby, skating and surfing. Was never great at the last two but really enjoyed doing them ) and always wanted to get back into but never got round and probably would never have done it if it was not for my kids showing an interest and wanting to do them.
2) wanting a deck that was solid underfoot and felt more like standing on a surfboard, all the longboards I have tried had a fair bit of flex which I never liked, so as I had a stock of staves, I thought I would handcrafted my own, and the results where a solid feel board that felt more like standing on a surf board, rides well but also looks amazing.
The beauty of using reclaimed barrel staves is that due to different colour and grain, each deck will be individual, no two boards will be the same (apart from the shape).

What to do when you have a week off work and its pouring of rain?
I know go out into the workshop (well shed) and plain the staves to size ready for laminating together.

I love this quirky board (even though I'm 6ft tall), it has basic ridge trucks and 59mm D Street wheels. It is so responsive, light and the original b**g hole makes the perfect carry handle.

Decided to add a design to the under side of my `J+` Longboard. I have always wanted a tattoo of a Chinese dragon but never got round to getting it done yet, so next best thing is to hand pyrograph my design onto my board.

The `Kilted Storm Trooper` was delighted to get his `J board`, even though it was blowing a hoolie.
