Want To Become Fit and Healthy But You Don't Know Where To Start?

Becoming fit and healthy seems so daunting and challenging that you just don't even know how to start off. To the majority of people this is their number one issue when it comes to making themselves more healthy and fit. There have probably been countless ways that people have tried to tackle this and it just hasn't worked for them. So in this post we will discuss the steps you should take and the mental prepartion you need to factor in for this to actually change your life.

The first and most challenging step is to make small changes to your routine. Now this seems almost insignifigant if your just thinking about the end goal. However, small things such as eating more greens and fruit or going on morning walks and jogs are an extremely hard task to migrate into your routine. We have found that it can take or longer before something becomes a habit. Therefore, for that time you need to prepare to proactively change your routine and force yourself to comit to your decision. Now this doesn't mean you should take on 100 new things in a week. You will have to slowly over time, perhaps every month, introduce a new healthy lifestyle choice to your day to day routine. This will help you feel less overwhelmed and you will more likely achieve your goal in the long run.

The second step is to make sure your motivation never stops. Believe it or not, a lack of motivation is one of the biggest things that lead to people neglecting their health. To make sure this doesn't happen to you we have come up with a few things you can do that have driven our clients in the past:

1) Think about your end goal and how positively it will affect your life.

2) Read success stories of people achieving their health/fitness goal and what they felt during and at the end.

3) Have a friend or partner to go through the journey with you so that you can always rely on eachother, and push eachother forward when the time comes.

4) Invest into your health by getting a personal trainer or subscribing to a gym membership. With this your alot more likely to stay motivated so that your money and
time is not wasted. Not to mention that you will recieve expert coaching and advice from someone who is trying their best to help you along your journey.

The third and final step is to remember to keep yourself mentally healthy. There is no point in driving yourself mad to make your body healthy and fit at the expense of your mind. Becoming healthy and fit means both making sure that you are physically healthy and mentally healthy. Remember, your mind is the centre of your body and is more important than anything else. To become mentally healthy make sure you provide yourself with enough sleep and do not forget to do relaxing tasks whether it be taking your dog out for a nice nature walk, watching an episode of your favourite netflix series or even going out with your friends from time to time. You need to create time in your routine for these activities just as you would create time for activities that keep you healthy and fit.
