The EN-Two
We are Jimmy and Seb and this is the EN-Two food blog. You'll find all sorts of recipes in here, mad We are Jimmy and Seb.
We met some years ago and soon discovered we shared a mutual love for cooking, beer and the local Enfield area. After many dinners, BBQs and even a ten-course tasting menu cooked for our wives, we decided the world needed just one more food blog. The EN-Two blog hopes to share recipes and promote the fantastic produce of the local area.
Perfect for lunch or a tasty snack

Focaccia with potatoes and gruyere This dish takes me back to Leeds. Across the road from the University is Bakery 164. They served these focaccia squares which I ate pretty much every day. I've tried to recreate them a few time and this is the closest I've come. Focaccia it pretty simple, doesn't take much kneading and everything ca...

Meaty Fennel & Sage Smoked Pork Ribs First sign of the summer, isolation or no isolation, out comes the BBQ and smoker. I had some pork belly in the freezer and had the time to try something new. Cooking the pork belly whole and later slicing it into ribs keeps everything nice and moist. During the winter I had a lovely fennel and sage...
The fennel and sage pork belly is coming along nicely this afternoon

After a long 2 year break The EN-Two is back. Nice ‘n’ slow chilli con crane

Six hour Chilli Con Carne So I'm going to level with you straight away, I don't put kidney beans in my chilli con carne. I also cook it more like a traditional bolognese. You'll just have to trust me on this. You don't have to cook this dish for 6 hours, one will do, I just find the flavour so much deeper after time on the s...
If you love scallops then we think you're going to love this dish. Super simple, but really delicious!
Scallops with scorched tomatoes and a Spanish style sauce My wife and I recently went to Tom Kerridge's Hand and Flowers restaurant over in Marlow (which I can't recommend enough by the way) and this dish is very loosely based on a scallop dish that my wife had as a starter. And by loosely based I mean it contains scallops and tomatoes. Their version natur...
Pork belly tasting tonight, another three already in the oven...results after the weekend

Vietnamese Pork Meatballs My local supermarket had some pork meatballs reduced. I ended up pulling them apart, adding spices and rolling them up again. Pork mince would be better but both work in the end. The meatballs were tasty and went really well with the sharp dip. The picked veg in the salad really cut through the fatt...
