Chapter 28 | Celebrating another year, I’m reminded of the milestones achieved and lessons learned. This year, with God’s grace, has been the best yet. Having my birthday at year’s end allows reflection on goals conquered and the journey traveled. Here’s to another year of continuous blessings and opportunities. Someone once told me. Your only as good as your last performance. In my case that's my last session. My last meeting. My last deal or transaction etc.

Having worked soo hard this long; I feel the statement to be false. And while it does create a sense of discontentment and desire to improve. I look back at the last 10years in particular and say I've been my best on many occasions.

This may be a random read but many people think people like myself have “made it” and I never understand what that means. In actual fact believe it or not times when I posted the most I was at my worst. I've been at my best now and I've probably posted the least I ever have in 7years.

But even though I am feeling good about where I am now. I look back at many occasions where I have been my best in different ways. Being at your best can come in many different forms. Health, faith, work, relationships, mental health.

I guess I write this to say. Take every best part of you throughout your journey and let that be your reference to what makes you up to be the best you can be.

We are all human and learning more about yourself is what helps you improve. I may gave gained a lot now but there are parts I have lost that I would love to have back about myself.

You might be good now but reflection and self-awareness are powerful tools combined 💫

SWIPE… Five years ago, I was DM’ing telling him how much he had inspired me to become a personal football coach and asking for pointers on where I could improve.

Last week, we were coaching side by side for a Nike event with 160 girls at Wembley.

I am still inspired by his work and extremely grateful for my journey.

Last month, I had the pleasure of coaching and baller, Raheem Sterling 🤝🏿

We worked on winger-specific technical practices, supported by live data 📈

We then caught up on how he uses data to improve his game, the training habits that have taken him to the very top of the game and how he went from a West London teenager to a Champion 🏆
