The customer wanted a purple base, with hand piped lavenders, and a mix of pretty florals on top. A glitter topper completes this beautiful cake. 🎂

This beautiful lemon sponge cake was was both the little girl’s birthday and Christening. 🩷

Layers of delicious lemon sponge, layered and loaded with lemon buttercream and lemon curd filling.

Covered in a two tone outer buttercream, then completed with dried and artificial florals and mirror gold cake charms 🥰🥰🥰

My customer wanted a cool, colourful simple base so she could adorn it with model animals, party hats and other decorations. 🤩

What a surprise it was for the little one when the cake was cut and a magic rainbow burst of colour popped through! So so cool!

Had the amazing opportunity to create this happy couples wedding cake and matching cupcakes for their big day. 🎂🧁🥂

3 tiers, consisting of vanilla sponge, strawberry jam and buttercream, red velvet and the brides favourite carrot cake for the top tier.

The theme for the cake was white and blue, so the handmade roses flowing down the side really stood out against the white fondant. Matching vanilla and chocolate cupakes accompanied this cake perfectly!

These super cool succulent cupcakes were for my daughter’s Aunty for her birthday. 🎂🩷👍🏻🌺

These are a great alternative to the floral cupcakes, and with the biscuit ‘soil’ in the pot, along with the different piping methods to create the succulent plants, it makes a perfect quirky gift.

These were coffee flavoured sponges, with a light coffee buttercream, coloured up in tonal greens, pinks and finished off with little orange flowers. 🤩

I was asked to create a colourful and pretty cake based on the little ones favourite characters 🩷🎂

So here we have chocolate sponges, layered and loaded with chocolate buttercream and chocolate filling. Covered in a layer of fondant, then finished off with handmade toadstools 🍄, flowers 🌺, painted grass and fondant grass then finally some cake toppers.

How cute?! 🥰

This beautiful buttercream cake has a hidden secret….

Inside the sponges were coloured up to either reveal a brilliant blue cake or a perfectly pink one…. 🩷💙

You would never know with the beautiful natural tones on the outside. Handmade fondant bear, hearts and blocks, and a beautiful mirror gold cake charm finish this cake off perfectly.

I loved creating this amazing bouquet basket for one of my loyal customers. 🧺🌺🌷🌹

Layers of vanilla sponge, loaded and layered with delicious strawberry jam and my smooth and creamy vanilla buttercream. A basket weave effect covered the bottom whereas a mix of all florals were piped on top to give the effect of a basket/planter. A fondant handle finished it off perfectly!

This was for a ‘Happy Retirement’ gift, and what a gift to recieve.

Big news people! 🚨

I am so happy to announce that i will be joining the team at 10/6 cafe in Broadway a couple of days a week as from next week. No one needs an excuse to enjoy a great cuppa, great food and of course, great cake 🍰 😜

A pale pink dairy free buttercream was used for the outside and it was adorned with shimmery balls of all sizes. The photo doesn’t do this cake justice ☺️🎂👌🏻

50 cupcakes in silver cases were also made for guests to take away with them.

I have so many new customers based on reccomendations or have tried my cakes at events. I am forever grateful. This chocolate sponge was loaded up with chocolate spread, my creamy chocolate buttercream and then finished off with vanilla buttercream in a tonal pink colour. Buttercream swirls, meringues, macarons and confetti bring this cake to life, along with a glitter topper by the incredible Faye at Fayebeecreates!

The weather finally looks like it’s changed and hopefully the better weather is here to stay! 🤞🏻☀️

Here’s just a few things to bare in mind when ordering or displaying your cakes….

Avoid direct sunlight - heat will cause even the most chilled down cakes to melt. Fondant cakes will also soften and the buttercream may melt underneath the fondant, causing issues.

Make sure the room the cake is displayed in is a cool, dry place out of reach from anything that can interfere with it.

If needed, display the cake nearer to the time of cutting or needing it. This will mean you can keep the cake in cooler conditions up until the last minute.

Lastly, simply enjoy your cake, your occasion and the weather ☀️😊

Wedding cakes have changed so much over the years. Cakes are much like fashion and have ‘trends’ too, and its amazing to see all the different styles.

From a traditional tiered cake, to a smaller cake surrounded by cupcakes, to a cake with fake tiers, to naked cakes, buttercream, fondant, artificial flowers to sugar paste, its absolutely endless 🥰

This was my display cake for the recent wedding fayre i attended at the White Swan in Stratford upon Avon. A beautiful 3 tier double height, covered in a wrapped fondant effect and sage green accent middle tier. Gold edging and coloured artificial flowers bring this cake to life for that neat, rustic but classy effect. 🥂
